Last bit of beach fun for 2024. Putting down reps in before travelling up to the in-laws for New Years.
Hope you all have a wonder end to 2024 and that you rock 2025 đŞ
I have a secret hobby.
I like to indulge on it regularly.
Itâs observing dogs body language while they are out on their walks đŤ˘
Itâs fascinating to watch how dogs communicate with each other and their owners. I highly recommend you have a go as is a great way to learn about how dogs interact.
next time youâre out, walking your dog, slow down and start watching.
Never let your guard down đ

Thank you to everyone who has given their condolences for Bertie â¤ď¸
Didnât realise how hard it would hit me, getting his paw print tattooed on my leg next to Tizzyâs next week so will have him with me always.
In the latest Super Sniffers class, team Hugo were tackling food distractions in the search area and teams Bubbles and Megan were working through toy distractions.
The gamble that is autumn đ

One of the games we like to play in Puppy School is the Puppy Okie Kokie.
This involves puppies learning to focus on their owners around other puppies and walk away. We also throw in the odd greeting so puppies learn they can say hi selectively rather than lunging towards every dog they see.
Do you give your dog ânib-nibsâ when they come over to play with you or am I just deranged? đ
TRIGGER WARNING: animal carcass shown in this reel.
A dead deer washed up on the beach today. The dogs took off after a scent while on a walk which on the beach normally means something dead has washed up.
The dogâs nose is amazing, they were about 800m away when they caught the scent while I didnât pick up the smell until about 100m away.
Whatâs not so amazing is Max ignoring my recall and rolling in deer guts. đ¤˘
Mantrailing Halloween special. A murder mystery.
What other excuse do you need to get out the blow-up doll? đ

Everyone wants to say hi to the cute puppy, right?
Setting boundaries for both people and puppies is important for teaching puppies manners and ensure they are not over socialised.
Tonightâs class practiced setting these boundaries by either politely letting the other down and not allowing their puppy to be greeted, or to allow a greeting while teaching their puppy not to jump up.
This week in Puppy School we were looking at teaching pups an alternative to jumping up and how to greet people. â¤ď¸
Another important exercise is empowering owners to advocate for their puppy and be comfortable saying no on occasion when someone wants to pet their pup.
