Snuffle mats are used to feed your pets in a manner that requires them to use their brains and noses to seek out their food. This helps them expend their energy in a positive manner and slows down the amount of time it takes them to eat. Simply pour the food or treats over the mat and hide it within the folds. These mats are not toys and should be taken away when your pet has completed their search. These mats have a rubber base and are made from fleece. They should be hand washed and hung upside down to dry. The basic mats have shorter strips of fleece. The advanced mats have longer strips and makes foraging a little more challenging for your pet. The base measures 12" x 12". Finished size of basic mats is approximately 17" x 17", advanced mats are 22" x 22". Mini snuffle mats are made on a 6" x 6" base but are packed tightly and include slightly longer strips than a basic mat. Finished size is approximatey 14" x 14". A great challenge for small pets!
