Update: ❤️‍🩹 Monte is out of surgery & they did his neuter too. Dr said his eye was really really bad. Poor guy, but he will be on the road to recovery and we will pick him up soon. 👍🏻🎉 We really truly can’t thank everyone enough for stepping up to donate for this boy. We honestly can’t do this without you and we appreciate every single one of you whether it’s sharing, donating or taking the time to send good wishes. Just know we truly thank you!! 🙏🏻

Meet Monte!! This poor boy was found wandering as stray yesterday & taken to the shelter here in NM. We spoke to the shelter and knew we had to help as he has some severe injuries. ❤️‍🩹

First and foremost, Monte has a traumatic eye injury that needs immediate removal, which is happening first thing this morning. He is not neutered or microchipped. He does have some scabs & puncture wounds as well.

Help us help this boy!! I know we just had an eye injury with Gidget and we spent over $1500 and she still has her spay to do yet. You all showed up for her & we were able to almost completely cover her costs!! We hate asking again but we could not let this guy suffer.

Either way we will make it work! We won’t fail him. Mike and I pay all of the rescue costs out of our own pockets. Donations & Adoption fees help about 10-20% but this is a costly passion. 🙏🏻❤️

Just this week, we have several more incoming pugs and we will be posting all available pugs today. We also have a pug Meetup coming on Saturday July 6th where we will be bringing all available pugs to meet!!

Introducing Caleb! WE ONLY HAVE A WEEK TO HELP HIM!!! This fantastic four-year-old “Aussie-box-shepsky” (totes designer dog!)weighs 45 pounds and loves his people silly! He’s had a wonderful family since he was a wee pup, and they are absolutely heartbroken to have to rehome him due to hardship.

This boy could not be sweeter! He is very low maintenance, loves to chill with his peeps, especially kiddos! If you get out of board game, he’s likely to rest his head on the table trying to get in on the fun! He’s passed his destructive puppy energy, thankfully, but is still playful and loves his ball! He is 100% potty trained, and would be happy as a house dog or an apartment/condo dog.
SWEETY CALEB NEEDS A HOME OR FOSTER ASAP by MAY 26 SO HE DOESN’t END UP LOSING HIS LIFE AT THE VERY VERY HIGH KILL SHELTER HE’D BE REQUIRED TO GO TO!
He’s a pretty cheap date as his favorite toy is a plastic water bottle! He is not destructive in any way, and used to live with a bulldog girlfriend who sadly passed a few years ago, so we think he may be able to have another dog friend in the household with proper intro, but he has been an only pup for a while, so he’d be super happy as an only fur kid as well!

! He is super healthy, already neutered, has all of his shots and is 100% ready to make another home happy with his silliness and cuddly nature. We are looking for a forever home, but if anyone out there can foster this guy so that he doesn’t end up… well… let’s not think about it. Let’s make it happen! Dogs sleep around 14-16 hours a day so don’t feel bad because you work! We all do! They love us and don’t want to go to a shelter. Owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized since no one is looking for them. 🥲
