Violet has been missing for 18 days. Female - spayed, red and white basset hound. Last seen 6/18 in Natural Bridge Station wearing a green collar with ID. Violet is a beloved family pet and all we want is for her to be home safe. Reward money will be paid with no questions asked.

UPDATE: we understand dog was caught. LOST DOG: Truck Stop (Petro) Mile marker 205 in Raphine. I am Lisa Ingram and represent the Hands Helping Paws/Kangal Dog Rescue Project. We were transporting a 2.5 year old spayed female Kangal last Saturday 8/26, and she pulled away from the transporter and ran into the median of 81, where she spent the night. Sunday morning, 8/27, she caused some commotion on 81 south as she darted across, stopping traffic, reported to us by a VA state policeman who witnessed her successful escape from the 81 death corridor to the Western side, into a wooded area amidst commercial properties. We have engaged a local trapper who has set up a we**am in the area she was last seen. We are hoping to set a trap if we get a sighting. I will attach a photo of her. She is microchipped. She is also, sadly, dragging her leash. Her name is Sarum. She is friendly but terrified. Animal control is aware that we are searching for her. I also put signs up all over at the various gas stations/restaurants, etc. Thank you for contacting me if you have any sightings. 540-686-2771. Lisa Ingram

Help us celebrate our 30th annual festival with wine, beer, music, food, and vendors. Wine will be sold by the glass or bottle only. Beer will be sold by pint or flight. We recommend bringing lawn chairs and popup tents, or blankets. Admission is $10/person, $5/person for current wine club members. Proceeds are used to help benefit the the Augusta Regional SPCA. Admission for children is an item for the SPCA. These can be canned or bagged food for dogs and cats, litter, blankets or towels. Current Wine club members will get a complementary glass of wine with their admission price.
Music by Jimmy O!! 12 pm to 3 pm. For over 40 years, Virginia entertainment icon “Jimmy O” has had a mission. His motto, Preserve Endangered Music, says it all.
