Buster Brown is an almost 3 year old Staff Terrier mix. He does great in his crate during the day and at night. He doesn’t make a peep until alarms start going off in the morning. He has had no accidents in the house as of late. He loves to play but isn’t annoying about it and is also very content to hang out and lay around the majority of the time. He doesn’t bark much at all even with the resident annoying dogs that bark at anything and everything. He went for a ride for school pick up and was an easy rider in the back, waiting patiently and quietly in the car. We think no cats, unless someone really wants to work with him, he can forgot about the cat just fine but if he sees her he is annoyingly interested even after a few claws to the nose. He’s grabbed a few of the kids stuffed animals but will immediately drop them and give the sorry eyes when you tell him “NO”. He can be a little jumpy and mouthy when excited but is working on that.

Rebel without a cause....? No Rebel with 3 paws.. This energetic 9 month old T-rex, kangaroo mix is loving and looking for the right place to call home. Rebel received an injury when he was younger, causing him to lose one of his legs, but that hasn't slowed him down any! He is good with kids, dogs, and even cats, but just like any puppy, he needs to be reminded of good manners. Rebel enjoys a lot of activity and interaction with his people. He will need a home that doesn't require a lot of stairs. He does great getting up them but needs some assistance going down. The ideal home would be one that has a lot of time for play, cuddle, and structure. He would do best with someone who would provide regular walks on even terrain and possibly have a safe fenced-in yard as he loves to run and play. Additional instructions will be provided. Side note- our veterinarians recommended against the use of a prosthetic, which is why he does not have one. Prophet is a 1-2 year old, hound mix. He loves meeting new people, gets along with dogs and cats, and admires horses from afar. RINGO Starr! This little guy has SO MANY great qualities that are being overlooked and we’re not sure why! Look at how cute he is... his fur is like velvet, his eyes are like gold and the look he gives to his foster mom is beyond passionate. He is an EXCELLENT hiking partner. His off leash skills are better than most dogs I know, he stays close on the trails and minds his own business with other trail users, both dogs and people. He is friendly, respectful and appropriate with every dog he’s met. He has 100% good house manners, can be left alone, enjoys his crate/bedroom time and fills his space with his favorite toys and chews.
His cuddles and personal affection is all you need on a cold day, or when you’re feeling just the need for some good ole hugs. He drapes his body over yours and looks into your eyes with his gorgeous soulful eyes.
He’s not a guy for a busy household, he likes it on the quiet side. Adventurous adults, active retirees, work from home folks with time for adventuring would be perfect for him! He settles nicely in the home and waits for his “time” with you.
I really can’t say enough about this guy. I am in awe every time we get to walk together! Once you are in his circle of friends, he bonds hard, completely loyal, will be your bestie wherever you go. He’s really a special guy and he’s waiting patiently for that special person(s) to come into his life to complete his world.
