It’s that time of year again! Potters Angels Rescue is hosting its second annual silent auction! This year thanks to our amazing community supports we have some incredible auction items available. There are items for winter sports fans, dog lovers, movie lovers, bakers and more! Be sure to check out our Silent Auction ONLINE at 32auctions.com/pottersangelsrescue.

The silent auction will be live March 1st at 8am and close March 8th at noon.

Some items may be available for shipping at the cost of the buyer. Pick ups will begin March 9th.

Winter, aka “The Silent Shadow,” aka “Sock Bandit,” aka “The Sweetest Sidekick You’ll Ever Meet,” is on the hunt for her forever family—preferably one that doesn’t mind a little light theft (all socks will be returned unharmed upon polite request).

A 3 year-old Shepherd mix with the heart of a teddy bear, the paws of a highly dexterous raccoon, and the leadership skills of a middle manager, Winter is an expert in companionship, shoe theft, and using her paws in ways that defy traditional canine behavior. Winter enjoys keeping things orderly. She’s not bossy, per se—she just has strong opinions on how the pack should operate. Her ideal human will provide structure, boundaries, and the occasional reminder that no, Winter, you are not actually in charge of payroll.

Winter is a certified Good Girl™—housebroken, crate-trained, dog-friendly, and fiercely loyal to her people. She is the perfect adventure buddy, work-from-home office mate, or personal space invader (in the best way). She would like to clarify that she is not stealing socks and shoes, just borrowing them to study human culture and behavior. This research has thus far yielded no conclusions, but she remains diligent in her work.

Winter is also a bit of a mystery when it comes to kids and cats. While she hasn’t been officially tested, her playful yet calm demeanor suggests she’d be just fine with respectful kids and potentially even feline friends. That said, she reserves the right to conduct her own thorough evaluations (which may or may not involve trying to recruit them into her sock-retrieval operation).

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and slightly quirky best friend who will always be by your side (sometimes a little too close, but who’s complaining?), Winter is your girl. Mercury is a 12 week old mix breed ! With the cutest little ears and whiskers one could only guess his mix . He weighs about 20 pounds and is excelling at his puppy obedience. He sleeps soundly in his crate through the night and eagerly races you to his crate for a treat when you say “bed”. He is fostered with young children other dogs and cats which he is learning proper manners to co exist with . Jupiter met a Potter’s Angels Rescue alumni at Lowe’s today! Jeffrey, now 14 years old was adopted a 3.5 years old. His family LOVES him so much and was thankful for all we do. Looking good Jeffrey ❤️

If there were a trophy for snuggle buddy, Cam would have the blue ribbon. At 2 years old, this low rider has a special way of melting into you and if you’re not careful he may just melt your heart. Cam thinks everyone is his best friend, but we would like to find the one and only for him. He does not like being left alone and will let you and everyone within earshot know if that happens. For this reason, he would probably not be great for an apartment living situation or someone who works long hours. He just wants to be with you wherever you go. He loves going for car rides and will curl up in the front seat and ride like a total gentleman. He is friendly with dogs and is learning how to play. He was a little confused as to how that worked when he first came to us so we have been doing a lot of social interactions to improve his skills in that area and he is doing great with dogs of all sizes! He would probably do best in an adult-only home because he gets soooo excited over toys and has an obsession with grabbing soft things, like your hat, sweater, or blankets. If you are looking for someone to Netflix and chill, Cam is a pro! Be warned, once he is comfortable he plays dead if you try to move him and you will have the full weight of this little sausage to contend with. Cam has a very interesting look. He has the body of a basset hound and the head of a staffie so be prepared to be stopped for pets wherever you take him. People can’t get enough of him! Are you looking for a highly intelligent partner that loves to learn new things, is loyal and not only likes being told what to do but needs that? You won’t find that kind of love on Tinder, but don’t worry we’ve got you covered! Knox may just be the man you’ve been missing in your life. At just 10 months old, this guy is craving some love and stability in his new home. He has spent the last month in a training program, and has improved in some areas and straight up excelled in most. He is incredibly smart, making him a super fun dude for an experienced handler. He learns new skills at a rapid pace and is already leash trained, treadmill trained, crate trained, and is nailing his obedience training. We are always coming up with new tricks to teach him because he craves that mind work! He loves playing with other dogs and even showed great potential for living with a dog savvy cat if given the guidance he needs. He loves playing with dogs so much in fact that we are requiring another dog for him in his new home. His only area of weakness is his insecurity with strangers. We have made great strides in this area with regular controlled outings, proper leash skills and confidence building exercises. With the right handler, we truly believe that the sky's the limit for Knox! We would love to find his person so we can work hand in hand with his training so he continues to excel and becomes the best dog that we know he can be. He will do best in a calm, adult-only home with at least one other dog friend.
