Nom nom nom nom nom. A gentleman called me this morning. From Vernon. He found six kittens a week ago. He thinks something happened to their mom because they were walking around his yard crying. He had them for a little over a week and feels he's over his head. Well I'm full. But I had to make room. They're at least safe.

The dangers of trapping at night. We're trying to finish up the colony in town. There's a few yearlings that I need to trap. I used my drop tonight and I had four of them under there. Guess what. All four are already ear tipped. I should have looked when I was there as I would have trapped more. But it was getting dark and it's been a long day. Oh well I still have two for tomorrow.

Lucy was adopted this weekend. An older gentleman surrendered her to us. She was his fathers cat. They spoke only Russian to her. No one could getnear her. We spent time. I talked to her .....in my limited Russian.
She finally settled and started to like us.
A man decided to give her his home. He was lonly and wanted a friend.
I hope they bond well. They like each other, so thats a start. He will give her the time she needs. She looks happy so far.

Thank you !!

Today is Bath day. It should be interesting. This girl lets you pet her and rubs you and rubs you but when you go to pick her up it's a whole new ball game. We'll figure out something but she'll feel much better. We're going to try to do everybody in the cage but one of them is a true feral an adult, she's not getting a bath.

This little guy is named Bigger. He came to us as a 12 week old feral kitten. We placed him with Big and Little. He was Bigger, the name stuck.

He was very scared initially and we couldn't touch him, but the other two were taming up and showed him humans aren’t so bad. This boy is lucky he came to us and was lucky enough to make his way into our house. For the past few weeks he's been living with my cats and this past weekend was his first showing up at PetSmart.

His mates Big and Little have found their forever homes and I don't really want to put him with anyone else up at the shelter, so he's happy being here. This little guy takes biscuit making to an all new level. I think he's making wine. He is bonding with me now, so I'm really hoping to find him a forever home of his own so he can bond with them. ❤️ He will need another cat around as he grows up so that he can continue learning how to trust and be a good boy. As a kitten now, he does start to get a little feisty and bites softly. This is very common with kittens and having a cat friend helps to ensure this behavior does not continue, not on humans.

We love him to death and it's going to be hard to let him go, but he is ready for his forever ❤️🥹

Here's the girl. I'm told she's 10 years old. She's deaf because I snuck up behind her and threw a blanket over her. Her litters don't even survive anymore. This girl right here is the poster child for this site. I don't know what else to print about this that's not going to be nasty so I'm just going to kind of leave it. And I hope the afterlife evens things out. I got nothing.

Four more today out of that site in town. Bring my total to nine more. These cats should have never been born I should have been able to end this months ago. I'm up to 50 cats Now 49 cats out of that site another rescue has taken a few more. I'll know tomorrow if I've got all the babies out of there.

This little boy comes from North Street in Windsor Locks. Not that the ladies have left they left about 15 cats with no food. The new owners are complaining about the cats of course. I've taken five more out and I finally caught the white mama cat that's been there for 10 years. She's deaf. I snuck up behind her and covered her with a blanket and picked her right up. She would not go near a trap for the past 3 years. Everybody's hungry here we left some food. We just got three more and we're waiting on a fourth all young ones. Young ones that shouldn't have been born this year because I've been trying to trap here since April. We've taken over 40 cats out of here and returned maybe 7 over the 6 months.

Our Story

One of the greatest human tragedies

is to see a need and to do nothing about it.

Our mission is to control the feral cat population through the trap neuter and return program (TNR) and educate the public with the process of managing the feral population or community cats in their neighborhoods.
