Yay! Mama is with her babies!

FOR THE UPDATE YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!

We have the mother to the 7 abandoned puppies and they are reunited at our shelter! 🐶

Mama will be with them until they are 8 weeks, and then we are getting her spayed, so she can have no more puppies! ❌

We are very grateful to have mom so that these puppies have their proper nutrition and minerals from mom that puppy milk replacer can’t replace! Important social behaviors are learned from mom during the next 4 weeks too! AND mama won’t have mastitis problems from being engorged, so it is a win for all!

The sheriff department is handling the rest; we are just excited to have mama.

I apologize for the poor quality photo, but I snapped this quickly to allow mama to have time to adjust and make up for lost time with her babies 💕
