HERE FOR CATS CAT-CHUP
Fortunately, after a couple of weeks with very little interest in the array of adorable cats we had available, homing has picked up.
Without interviews to conduct, we were able to turn our attention to fundraising activities. Like all rescues, we are facing increasing pressure on our funds. Look out for the launch of our new sponsorship scheme for the three pens we have in a cattery on the Surrey/Hampshire border. These pens perform a vital role in our rescue and a welcome refuge for cats coming into our care. We rely on the generosity of the public to fund our work.

CATS REHOMED
BLOSSOM came from the East End of London as a young and nervous stray. After an extended stay in our care, and thanks to her Fosterer, she became more confident. She is flourishing with an adult family in Aldershot who had lost their much loved, 15-year-old tabby.
ATHENA was originally handed in as a pregnant stray to Willett House Vets. The following day she gave birth to five kittens to whom she was a great mum. Now neutered and no longer having any responsibilities, she has gone off to an independent and carefree life with a couple in Guildford.
PRICILLA, the long-haired tortie, came from a multi-cat household and has been homed as company for a cat previously adopted from HFC.
BABY (now renamed Dennis) who is Pricilla’s son, after recovering from a necessary dental, has gone to be a companion to an elderly Sh*tzu.
HOLLY, a sweet, young tabby girl, was one of a pair not coping with the arrival of a baby. She is now making music in Shepperton with a couple who are classical musicians.
ASH has recovered well from his leg amputation and went off to his new owner who had waited patiently for his recovery. She had fallen in love with his picture and story when we first posted him on our page, and when they met, the attraction was mutual!
RECENT INTAKES
JULIETTE has been a very unexpected intake. She was presented to us for neutering as a one-year-old, male ginger, but she turned out to be a 5-month-old, female tabby with a badly damaged eye. Sadly, it was not possible to save her eye which had to be removed, which came as an unexpected expense. This little girl is now recovering in a foster home.
SUNNY, a large, 4-year-old, male, tabby has arrived into care with a new Fosterer in Tilford. He was signed over reluctantly as his owner had to travel overseas regularly to visit family and Sunny had become unhappy with the amount of time he was spending in a cattery.
We moved JACK from the cattery to new Fosterers which has made way for 8-year-old tabby and white BRUNO. His owner has reluctantly asked us to rehome him as she has been forced to move into a flat and he is a very outdoorsy type.
CAT OF THE WEEK
Who is going to be the lucky family to adopt young cat LUCY, pictured here? Aged between 4-5 months’ old, this jet black, slinky girl has put her past as a stray behind her. We feel sure that her gentle and loving nature, together with her typical kitten antics, will capture the heart of anyone who meets her. Check her full details on our website (Adopt/Meet The Cats) or on our page.
