PAFP didn’t participate in ‘Give for Good Louisville’ this year since we’re in Miami (this season).
‘Give Miami Day’ caught my eye on Facebook, and since it falls on my birthday, 11-21, I signed ⬆️.
-Everything’s expensive everywhere, which affects all businesses everywhere (nonprofits too!).
The rescue grossed $12,000-something in 2023, and spent around that amount in the same period of time; there’s $300 in the rescue checking account atm.
-If you’re in a position to give, even $5, please watch for donation links the week of .
As with Give for Good Louisville, Give Miami Day is run by The Community Foundation, and there ARE matching gifts. … 2 min fun read on how some orgs benefit for GMD… 💫…

CARAMEL is a sweet, kind, gentle, fully-vetted dog that spent many months in our local (Miami) shelter after having been picked up as a stray with chemical burns on her back 😢.
-She was finally fostered out, then adopted.
Her adopter reached out to the foster over the weekend saying they plan to return her to the shelter, basically because she’s ‘too scared’ of the husband.
-This is a kind, gentle dog that needs someone patient enough to let her learn to fully trust a human (man) again. There’s not an aggressive bone in her body (see her videos)- she needs empathy, consistency and love.
We’re assisting her initial foster in networking her, and hoping the ‘adopter’ gives us time to try to place her in a new home prior to returning her to Miami Dade A.S. …

Lilly was one of the most unique dogs we’ve ever placed…
and 4 years later she remains thriving in her forever home in Wi******er, Ky.
Her adopter/owner, Audrey, sent me this cute clip of how her husband gives Lilly treats 🥰😊🐾.
-Lilly has always been quite feral and won’t allow people to touch her. She also won’t go indoors. She needed a rural home with acreage, and that’s what we (and God) found for her. Lil was a rescue with 5 pups we had pulled from include your 🐾💫💚

We had a whirlwind 4-day trip ‘back home’ to Louisville for my sister’s wedding 💒.
~Of course I spent some time with Ms. M’s pets, the woman that was wise enough to include her pets, and this rescue, in her death plans. 💫

Sweet Lily and her boyfriend of Paoli, IN. have adopted the last black and white kitten of the litter that was abandoned on us approximately 6 weeks ago (Ky.)! 🎉
-There are still 2 brown/grey tabbies in need of 🥰 🏠s- vaccinations and sterilization surgeries are scheduled for all 7 kittens at SNIP clinic on 11-4 or 11-7. 👍👌😺 include your 🐾💫
