This past October we participated in an intense grant interview process with the Louisville Youth Philanthropy Council’s ‘Animal Team.’
Getting to meet these driven, engaged, smart, dedicated was a great experience, even though we ultimately weren’t chosen as the grant recipient.
Congrats 🎊 to the Arrow Fund on recently being chosen by LYPC as the most-worthy animal charity in Louisville for this incredible grant!

The current tenant of our Louisville home (aka 'The Happy Yellow House') is fostering a dog for Paw and Feather Plan! 🏠🐾☺
-I had put a blurb about having the opportunity to foster a dog or cat thru the rescue on our property's listing, and this tenant, a young pathologist, loved that aspect of renting from us!
-How cool 😎?!!
The tenant, Joseph, chose this sweet, chubby dog from a list of a dozen LMAS-dogs I had prepared for him as foster-potentials.
He picked up the dog from Metro on Saturday and reports the dog's very well-behaved and calm.
(Sorry I can't recall the dog's name at the moment, or maybe he's not named yet)!

I know there’s a lot going on in the 🌎 right now. So here’s a gentle reminder on the importance of for your .
I was surprised and saddened to know 2 dogs that had been adopted out by PAFP tested within weeks of each other. Both were negative at the time of adoption but contracted the parasite, which is passed thru infected microscopic mosquito larvae, this past summer. I’m not keen on using many chemicals on but this is a reminder that some is oftentimes necessary.
Cheech and Jet are both being treated for early stage heartworm by their responsible, loving owners. 💚🐾💫

to our , Twix, on finding her 🥳 our 🐾 was after 86 days in
🏠😍
As a larger sized, young dog, Twix was quite a handful much of the time. And in have been slow, so we did what any does, and til' Twix's person found her. Sara for choosing to belong in your heart 💚, in your home, and in your will. &/or cre8 a ☺️

Às if anything could make me ❤️ Valentine’s Day more?!… Twix has left on a weekend trial visit with a wonderful family ~ Twix would be Sara’s dog, a college student studying ancient history and pre-law (LOVE it- ancient history’s more exciting than most telenovelas 🤗)!
