OK. More results about Neuters from today's GCCF Shows. This time, Classic patterned Ocicats. Thorsoak Willow-Aspen, a hot/bitter chocolate girl has become (pending confirmation) a GCCF Grand Premier. Thorsoak Lillia-Regale, a black silver girl has gained her 2nd Grand Premiership status. I was about to go to bed and I managed to capture a photo of descendants of Freyja. I have not noticed during the Christmas period how much these 5 months' old kittens grew. The Lady in the back is Fulla, their surrogate Mother. Fulla, at her young age weighs 5kgs anyway. This will be so good for the Breed.

Before we all get a festive Christmas spirit, the GCCF Christmas Show took place last Saturday. The Ocicats were well represented. Furthermore, there were 3 Classics patterned Ocicats present. Karen and Jasmine took her two Neuters. A very elegant, black silver Ocicat Classic, Thorsoak Lillia-Regale and a bulky hot/bitter chocolate Ocicat Classic, Thorsoak Willow-Aspen. Lillia got her first Grand Premiership Certificate and Willow got her second one. Adding to a pleasure, Willow met her Father again, Thorsoak Njord-Baldrsson, a hot/bitter chocolate Ocicat Classic. He had to surrender to a very beautiful Bengal and he "only" got a Grand Reserve Championsip Certificate. It was a correct decision. I do not really have got photos of Njord, but there he is his photo as a kitten and the photo with The Wizard of Ocicats during the Supreme Show.

It is good news, by the way 🙂. I have to THANK Louise Cockrell for giving Thorsoak Lofn-Synsdatter her forever home. Lofn was supposed to be a descendant (obviously, from different lines) of Thorsoak Syn (Susan Wachowski Richer). Unfortunately, nature ruled that her motherhood could not be fulfilled. Furthermore, she was ever so shy and could not handle multiple cat household. So, we got her neutered at a very young age and I was lost in decisions, whether she should go on her own or whether she can handle more cats. Then, I woke up one morning and thought of Louise. She was willing to home our handicapped Leelah, it was too late, I had made my decision by that time to keep Leelah.

There you go. Lofn joined Louise and her neutered cats last Friday. There will be some hiccups, obviously, but Lofn is doing well. Louise has even managed to take her photos.

Time is coming to Christmas. There is a GCCF Christmas Show coming up. I have just received beautiful photos of Lillia and Willow, Classic patterned girls, who are getting ready to go. Karen and Jasmine spoil them rotten and they behave well. Lillia did not destroy the Christmas tree, she is happy in it. On top of it, both girls know how to open Christmas presents by now. All right, it was Karen's birthday present, but she gave them a head start.

A very emotional rollercoaster of Thor's Oak Family this year continues. Thorsoak Lofn-Synsdatter (a retired girl) went to her forever home yesterday. Additionally, I have received an unexpected present.

When we got our foundation Queen, Thickthorn Tikari-Thyme (now deceased), 18 years ago, we homed her brother, in order to keep her company, if needed. He was, obviously, neutered very shortly. He was rehomed roughly at the same as Tikari was. He is 16 years old and in good health. Let me introduce you to a Grand Premier Thickthorn Tambaa-Typha, a fawn Spotted patterned Ocicat.

I do not think that I have ever bred such a vocal boy, or at least noone told me. Have a look at Loki. He joined Rocket, with Angela and Chris a few weeks ago, but I am not certain that it does not hurt Rocket's ears. 🤗

I did not want to post today. You all must be bored with me. But, I cannot help it, Chris Fletcher has sent me an update. I will call it a total harmony. Loki left Thor's Oak Family on 4th November. He joined Rocket, an older Ocicat and a doggie. Rocket was " a bit" jealous in the beginning, but look at this. Thank you Chris and Angela.

Well, Freyja left yesterday for her forever home. Thank you Helga and Francis. It is going to take a bit longer for her to settle down. We have realised that Freyja has never left Thor's Oak Family for almost 7 years. She was mated with our own boys and when we were in the shows, we were with her all along. Nonetheless, I have managed to capture two of her descendants. Thorsoak Thruth-Freyjassdatter (she) and Thorsoak Heimdall-Vikingsson (he) sleeping together. Bless.

I am just packing an overnight bag for our Freyja. I wish it was just "overnight", but we are doing what is the best for our companion, who blessed us with a lot of beautiful kittens. Freyja is leaving Thor's Oak Family to go to her forever home. I am double emotional, because she is going home, where my foundation Queen, Thickthorn Tikari (her Grandmother) died.

GCCF Grand Champion Thorsoak Freyja, a tawny Classic patterned Ocicat helped us to promote a Classic pattern. She is a daughter of the first ever titled female Classic patterned Ocicat within GCCF, a Grand Champion Thorsoak Amorpha, a blue Classic patterned Ocicat and FIFe Supreme Champion DK*Jacobscat's Cato, a homozygous chocolate Spotted patterned Ocicat. (Frank and Karin Mandix).

Attached are some latest photos, including the one with her two daughters, who are with us, our handicapped Leelah and Freyja's descendant, Thruth. Her legacy will continue in different lines. I am off to bed, to cry.

An absolutely delightful couple, Angela and Chris travelled 5 hours from their place to ours and the same distance back, so that they can meet Thor's Oak Family and Freyja's kittens. This morning, they picked up Thorsoak Loki-Beech, a tawny Spotted patterned Ocicat. Us worrying about the distance. It came to "there is the first time for everything". FB does not allow me to send more photos on the same posting.

Being very tired, I needed some entertainment today. And there you go. Tyna Wight's Photon. Ocicats are trainable, we all know. But for me, this is the first I have ever seen.

We have recently homed Thorsoak Oscar Mahoe, a blue silver Spotted Ocicat. Enjoy the video.

Something very pleasant for tonight. Photon and Lunar, two boys from different litters have found home with Tyna Wight (quite a while back). Look at them. Bless.

I have just went to finish making the bed. Yes, we have black and white sheets. Look who cropped up. Dreamsong Yngvi of Thorsoak. Since last time I posted him, he has grown. I pride myself in having bred big boys, but I think this one is going to the biggest. Never mind that, his temperament is amazing.

You might remember me. My name is Dreamsong Yngvi of Thorsoak. I am a cinnamon spotted Ocicat. I got some good news last week. I am privileged to be registered with 3 Registries. I thought "so what"? Now, I know. My new Mama and Daddy clipped my claws. This can only mean SHOW. Damn it, I can't even play with tie wraps.

We have been homing kittens all weekend. Lyla, a light chocolate spotted Ocicat joined Ruby (one and half year old), a chocolate spotted Ocicat on Monday. Have a look how quick this was. Thank you, Chloe Horne to come back to us.
