When I started Weird is Beautiful, I knew I wanted to help support education and appreciation for our spider friends.
As back to school season starts, I think this would be a perfect time to start a program/group for our teachers to help spread advocating and tolerance for our sometimes misunderstood friends to our youth.

I have created a group to help support and share ideas, and network with others over how they incorporated their spoods into their classroom or in their teaching.

I am looking for other breeders and sellers, who would like to help in this effort, whether it's through help with giving advice on care, help managing the group, donate or deep discounted support for teachers, or in any other way you can think of to help.

I am also looking for teachers, who would like to be apart of this. Participating with networking and sharing updates. Their would be some requirements to participate.

If you are interested in either helping or a teacher interested in being apart of the group, or a teacher who has a class pet spider in their classroom already. Please no public request at this time. Message me for group link and how you would like to help.

I'm back home from the midnight sun! I got tons of stuff to do, orders to fill, spoods to feed. I missed them alot!

Made it to Alaska finally after Deltas IT issue causing numerous delays and canceling our connecting flight. Trying to find hotels, rides, and new tickets with 3 kids with 1 in a carseat. It being an adventure is an understatement. Hopefully the trip back home is less eventful.

My family and I are currently out of the state trying to make our way to Alaska for a wedding. With cloudstrikes IT issues, we are stranded by Deltas canceled flights. My responses to messages might be a little delayed.

Bio actives make a great enclosure for spoods, make sure to let them "bloom" for a couple of weeks before adding your land octopus.
