This is a big month for pets, huge day for black cats.
In Japan, it's considered good luck for a black cat to cross your path.
In Scotland, tradition suggests that seeing a black cat on your doorstep could mean you're about to get rich.
In Welsh folklore, black cats are thought to bring luck to a home and can even predict the weather.
In Germany, black cats crossing your path from left to right are considered lucky, but right to left is unlucky.
In France, crossing paths with a black cat is thought to mean something magical will happen.
This is all info from google but every time I've seen a black cat, it has been under the best circumstances - friendship. Happy Black Cat Day to all our friends!

St. Roch, ever heard of him? He is the patron saint of dogs, the ailing, falsely accused people, bachelors, and several other things. Often depicted showing off his thigh and with a dog (carrying a loaf of bread in its mouth). An icon, truly.

Have you moved, changed phone numbers, changed dog parents :( , changed anything!?? Time to update your microchip info!
If you're not sure if you have a chip, there's a free station hanging outside of Pet Resource Center of Kansas City @ 1116 E 59th St, Kansas City, MO 64110. It's hanging on the fence and is SO easy to use!!! They are usually in the shoulders and make sure you bring a treat so your pet feels comfy while you give their body a little scan.

Happy World Lizard Day!!!!! Crickets because they just love them (and worms and bugs and licking their own eye balls). Did you know that we love exotic pet care? They're so cute and it's a lot of fun caring for them! 🦎

Like we're not spoiling these kids every day... :) Our dog loves Ace Westlake Hardware (smells incredible, to Sprout) so we'll walk the aisles and let her sniff to her hearts content. What are ways that you like to spoil your dog??

If you know Brittany, you love her! This is a great time to give a shout to her other passion, !! If you haven't tried their pizzaaaa.... get over there!! It's SO GOOD! Honestly our mouths are watering just thinking about it...

Happy International Cat Day to all our cats and kittens around the world!! If you haven't seen a churu, they're those squeeze up lick treats that cats can't get enough of. We like to put ours on a lick mat to make the treat last longer (and give our cat something fun to do).

My dog is retired so she is big on naps... but this is a great day for working dogs!! Do you know if you have a working dog breed and that they might need a 'dog job'? Now would be a good time to take a google and see what your dog can do. Fun dog jobs include : cleaning up toys, nose-work like finding things around the house, watch the house!

Fun fact - a mutt is a mixed breed dog and we LOVE THEM ALL! It's almost more fun guessing what breed the ears would be, what the toes look like, and all the shining personality traits. Give your mutt an extra treat for us today!!

You can never have too many BFFs and Hanna is a quality one at that. Easily a 15/10 human and reaalllly exceptional at making it pets (and people) feel comfortable and heard. My favorite thing about Hanna is that they advocate for everyone around them, with a fun and funny attitude. Go Hanna!
