10 Years ago…. (damn that’s 2014 already!!!) I saw a post of a feisty sick lil boxer on Facebook, so I followed him. I rooted for this little guy to FIGHT for as long as he could.
Long story a little shorter, a couple years later I came across a post that E needed a home. I put my hand up the second I saw the post not expecting anything… a day or so later I heard he was going to go into another training facility, so I assumed he would fit in with his family after. Shockingly I found out the trainer referred him to euthanized.
Riina contacted me shortly after, asking if I was still interested, obviously I said yes. September 1st 2016 was the best day of my life.
The first words I whispered to Elvis were “I’m here buddy I’m going to take care of you”, since that day E has been my lil sidekick. He was only left alone for a couple hours a week in the summer(golfing) and I always felt guilty cause he’d be sitting in the window watching and waiting for me to come home.
If I was invited somewhere and he wasn’t I didn’t go or stay long.
Elvis, You have touched so many people in so many ways and every one of them loves you!
Sadly, I feared this day for the last 7.5 years. Elvis crossed the rainbow bridge today, and I am totally at a loss. This came on so fast, and he was in so much pain.
From the first day I had him he has been a perfect FRIEND.
He was the kindest, goofiest dog to everyone and every dog he met. His nub never stopped wagging, and he made sure to have a slobber for everyone, and sometimes a punch to the nutz if you didn’t give him attention fast enough.
Never did he ever show me he was in as rough of shape as he was. He had a large Mass in his chest crushing his organs and making it hard to breathe. Not to mention the damage he had to his spine. It had to be so painful for him for a long time and he never hinted that it bugged him.
Elvis I am so sorry I couldn’t fix this for you, you didn’t deserve this. You were the definition of . Run Free my friend, you will always be loved and missed. I love you buddy!
I can never thank you enough Riina for giving me the best dog anyone could ever ask for, Elvis was a perfect gentleman from the day I picked him up in Toronto.
For all of his followers, you have been fantastic in supporting E. If it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t have had the best 7.5 years of my life. We love you all for that.
I want to thank Dr. Al and everyone at Banwell Animal Hospitall for being so amazing.
Also Dr .Lutzmann and his crew at Manning road Animal Hospital for the amazing care they gave Elvis.
All I know now, is my best friend is gone, and I am broken.
I so wanted to get him to his 10th birthday Saturday, but it just wouldn’t be fair to him.
Hello Elvis lovers ♥️ this is Riina. I was Elvis’s Mama for the first year of his life. I am posting on behalf of Chris today to share some very sad news. Get out the tissues….
Sadly yesterday during the scan the vet discovered Elvis is full of Cancer and it is causing him a lot of discomfort and pain.
Tmrw night he will gain his wings ♥️

Hey all E isn't out of the woods. Had a couple good days than a real rough night... Today has been good so far, and E just wants to play.
I may not look it but dad keeps telling me to stop!! I have a real bad cough and dad is worried.
