Carlie is a young rider based in Southeast Houston, Texas. She has competed through the Preliminary level in eventing, 3'9" jumpers and Second Level dressage on her self-made horses. At age of 15, Carlie took her green horse to her first event and won! She has since been rapidly and successfully climbing the ranks of the sport. She has qualified for the American Eventing Championships 2 out of the

3 years she has been eventing and placed in the top 7 in all of her events in 2013. Currently building her string of up-and-coming horses, Carlie's long-term goal is to represent the United States in CCI4* competitions. To help reach her goals, Carlie has trained with multiple advanced riders, including Boyd Martin, Allison Springer, Stephen Bradley, Shelly Reichart, Lainey Ashker and Brad Hall.
