Jade's Mission Senior and special needs dog sanctuary Jade's Mission has provided hundreds of dogs with basic necessities like housing, food and shelter.

We all find ourselves in need at some time or another. Helping a family keep a dog is always the goal. All dogs coming into Jade's Missions program now live out their final days at our sanctuary. We have 3 acreas to give them a comfortable final resting place.

Can you believe it? I got all dressed up and mom forgot to post my picture. Look at me in my pretty green dress. Oh hi, I am Leona, 16 yr young member of the family. I am a bit shy and came to Iowa with a chip on my shoulder. Well, I actually, I mostly tried to put a chip, take a bit out of, your shoulder! I am much calmer now. Enough so I got a new dress. Now if I can just get ole' Skip to pay attention! Happy New Year everyone.

Today was spa day for Leona. She is making sure she is good and dry!

Little Tinker has gained her wings. She came to us with multiple mammary tumors. Surgery was successful. A month later she started having bloody diarrhea and straining to poop. Straining was hard on her and she would loose her balance. Medications were starting to help but then seizures started. She had one after another and didn't come out of the last one. She was a sweet little girl that didn't have the best care in her previous home. Here she had friends, food, warmth and love. She was truly a sweetheart. Fly free baby girl.
