Look at Curly go! About 3am I heard her whining. She had gotten behind a dresser. She wants to go. No more sitting around for her. Today a little wobbly still but on the mend. Wahoo!
A day late of posting, oooops! Martha the black dog is blind. I think she can see shadows but she goes wherever she wants. Many people ask how you train a blind dog. Mainly you leave the furniture in the same place as well as their bed and bowls. They learn the path themselves.
Meet Freckles. Freckles is a 12 yr old that has lived the last 10 years outside. He only got to touch the grass when he got one of his very few walks. His owner has passed away and he now lives at Jades Mission inside. He is so excited. He loves his dinners especially with green beans as a topper.
Our military babies are traveling home today. Their family is back from 3 years in Germany, now stationed in VA. Stella is doing a dance she is so excited, well also she see's food! LOL Welcome back the Barlow family.

Anubis at dinner time
DINNER TIME on the farm (part 2). Anubis waiting for his dinner.
Fantasia and snow
This wild child will not come inside until I scoop her up and carry her in. She is too busy outside barking at the big dogs, digging in the snow and running. She will stay out until her feet have ice cubes on them and I make her come in. This is Fantasia. She is a youngster here on the farm. She is only 3 but she can only see out of one eye and if you come up on her on the right side, she will snap at you. Otherwise, she is a loveable terror on wheels, constantly on the go! Don't ever let sight keep you from adopting a pet. They adapt and after awhile no one will even know they are sight impaired.
5 more inches of snow
Some of the larger dogs enjoying the falling snow, aboutr 5 more '' are expected.
No Rain
Enjoying the sunshine. After 5 days of rain a good run outside is needed.
Quiet rainy afternoon
This is mom's kind of day. Maybe a nap is in order for her also. The whole house is as quiet as a mouse. Sometimes a nice rainy, cloudy day is welcomed.
Pierre, one who blindness never brought down
Today is a good day for memories. Some of the bigger dogs here at the time behind the fence and three littles outside the fence. The little black and white dog, Baby Face, can see but the gray standing still, Mollie, and the fluffy little white on, Pierre, are totally blind. Pierre was a treasure. I will always remember him. He is on another adventure. He headed out in 2016. He couldn't see anything but loved going outside. He had places to go and dogs to run into. Enjoy! Remember those good memories it is why we have them.
Wagging tail doesn't stop
Ray is one happy camper when he is outside playing. Did you notice he is sight impaired? Most don't. It doesn't stop him from doing much of anything. Looking for a real tail wagger, this is your man. He is looking for his own people. Give us a call if you think he might be the one. House trained, crate trained, all around great dog.
Play ball!
Play ball. My turn. Calvin is the tennis ball fan of the group. He can run that round little body and short legs off catching a tennis ball. Yay! for a nice day outside.
Jedi enjoying springtime
Jedi is one busy fellow. He would love to have his own family to play with. He is only 3, loves outdoors but will cuddle to. If you are looking for a Mr. Handsome to win your heart this is the guy.
