Our vision is to create a community where all animals receive appropriate care, love and the opportunity to find a home.

Care Love Give, Inc., DBA: Wonder Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue that was founded with the purpose of helping families with animals in crisis, and animals in need of rescue. We will provide veterinary care and work against animal cruelty, abuse and neglect. Wonder Paws rescue will provide temporary housing, medical care and rehabilitation for neglected animals in our community,

with the ultimate goal of finding them permanent, safe and loving homes. These animals will be taken out of high kill shelters in Broward and Dade County and accepted from people who would like to surrender them to us directly.

Yesterday was a very special day! Figuero flew to his new family in RI after 4 months of being at the rescue with 0 interest from local adopters. His new family had been wanting to name their new kitten Figuero and when they saw his profile online, they knew he was the one for them. Some things are just meant to be.🖤 Thank you Angel for flying up another one of our kitties!

Raggedy Andy is not so raggedy anymore! When he first arrived to the rescue, his frail body was covered in ringworm and infection. After weeks of TLC at his foster home, lots of baths, and meds… he has finally been cleared for adoption! 🥳 Just look at him! His skin has healed and he has began to shine from the inside out! Andy is a quiet little boy. He can be shy at first but is easily won over with tasty treats. He loves playing with any toys he can get his paws on and wrestling with his little sister! Laa Laa is the last of her litter patiently waiting for her forever home! Sophie is a young, 1-year-old, beautiful harlequin, Great Dane. 🖤 She will be a big girl, as she weighs 125 pounds currently and still needs to put on some weight! She came into the rescue after eating a large rope toy. Her owners were going to euthanize her because they could not afford the surgery. Of course we could not let that happen. During her surgery, she was also gastropexied. Sophie is a sweetheart; she is timid at first, but opens up quickly.🥰Sophie loves to snuggle up on the couch to watch TV with her humans and furry foster siblings. She is good with dogs, but we suggest other big dogs as she tends to roughhouse too much with smaller dogs. She would do fine with children, but older children would be better due to her size. She is potty trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. Sophie would do best with a fenced backyard and an owner with large dog experience. She is still learning about the world and sometimes new experiences are scary. She is the sweetest and perfect example of a true Gentle Giant. Apply to adopt Sophie today! 🐾

This poor momma & her 4 kids were brought to us this weekend in rough shape.🙁 They were immediately started on antibiotics and have improved tremendously in the last 48 hrs! These kittens love to play the day away and their absolute favorite time of the day is breakfast, lunch, and dinner.😹 All of them are super sweet, affectionate, and social! Ozzy and his 3 siblings came to our rescue after their owners moved away and left them abandoned in an empty apartment. This big boy is a true gentleman... very easygoing and polite. 💚 He loves his food, naps, and toys. Ozzy is great with other cats and loves scratchies from his humans. After a long nap, he will get the zoomies! He loves to run back and forth through cat tunnels and chase toys. He is always first to run to the door and greet us when we arrive. Gia is quite a spectacular cat with her unique mask! She came to us nursing her 5 kittens and was the most incredible mom. All her babies have gone to their forever families and now it’s mom’s turn to find her happy ending! Gia is stunning, sweet, affectionate and easy going. She has a wonderful personality. It has been a hectic week at the rescue full of medical cases and emergency visits. We urgently need your help to pay off medical bills on this $5 FRIDAY!

Pluto has been with our rescue since February. He came to us with a large mass on his rear and a rotten mouth. He was thriving until our groomer noticed he was painful around his face. A vet visit revealed he had a tooth that needed to be pulled. When he was under, they also found a new mass on his shoulder. He is back in his foster home recovering while we await results.

Our sweet Prince had finally been cleared for adoption and suddenly began vomiting blood and stopped eating over night. His foster rushed him to the emergency room, where they diagnosed him with gastroenteritis and pneumonia. He remains in intensive care receiving treatment.

Our little Emi was finally discharged from the hospital. She was gaining strength thriving in her foster home until Wednesday morning when she suddenly became lethargic and unable to stand without her back legs giving out. We rushed her to the emergency room where they did X-rays and bloodwork. Her liver values were very concerning and the Dr believed she may have a liver shunt. We rushed her to another vet where they were able to do an ultrasound but the results were inconclusive. We are waiting on more test results to see what could be causing this. She will most likely need a full body CT scan which will be several thousands.

While we were at the hospital with Emi, a 1 yr old great dane was rushed into the hospital after swallowing a rope today. Her family asked to euthanize her because they could not afford treatment. The hospital asked us to step in to save her life, and of course we said yes. Luckily, she survived the surgery and is still in recovery. Her surgery bill was over 4k.

Help Emi breathe!

Please welcome Emi to the rescue.🥺 This tiny Frenchie girl has gone through too much in her short life. A few days ago, she was surrendered to us after she had been sick for over two weeks with no improvement. When she arrived to our emergency vet partner, Pet Emergency Center, and they sent us these videos of her trying to breathe…our hearts broke watching her struggle.💔 The vets believe she has a tracheal perforation which is causing her to aspirate and develop pneumonia. Emi also has a terrible bacterial infection making her skin painfully raw and crusty. This sweet girl deserves to be living her best pain-free puppy life and we need your help to make that happen! She has spent the last few days in the emergency room connected to an IV, receiving antibiotics and around the clock care. Her vet bill is already close to $2,000 and she has a long road to recovery ahead. 🏥 Once she is stable, she will will need to see a surgeon to determine if she needs surgery to have a chance at a normal life.
