Located in NorthEast Iowa, in the tri-state area. Heritage Valley Collies all started with a 5 year old girl named Nicole, wanting to be a dog breeder. She grew up with 1 smooth coat collie named Shadow, and many shelties after that. Completely smitten with the herding dogs, and always reminiscing on how much of an amazing dog Shadow was, she knew exactly which breed was her heart dog. In 2020, bo

th Nicole and her husband Cody started Heritage Valley Collies with their first litter of puppies. Every day being a new exciting, learning curve made both Nicole & Cody fall in love with the breed & process more and more. "Collies are famously fond of children and make wonderful family pets. These swift, athletic dogs thrive on companionship and regular exercise. With gentle training, they learn happily and rapidly. Currently, Heritage Valley Collies offers only rough coat collies with plans in the future to incorporate the smooth coat line as well, in honor of Shadow. What sets Heritage Valley Collies apart? Our Collies are all members of the family & live with us in our house, usually hogging our couch and bed. All our puppies/dogs come with contracts and the following:
-AKC registration
-Microchipping
-Collar Training
-Potty Training
-Socialization with kids/cats/chickens & all dogs on premise
-puppy surprise packs
