Love truly comes in so many shapes, colors, and sizes. It comes in ways you would never expect, and sometimes it breaks your heart. I won’t succeed with every animal I rescue. But when I look into the eyes of the ones I have succeeded with- and feel nothing but love and gratitude from them, I know I will keep trying to give a chance to the ones who don’t have a voice. I know some people think that the efforts to rescue animals are futile, a waste of time and money. But I know to those animals that I care for, it makes a world of difference for them, and I will never let anybody take that away from me
