Meet Dottie, a lovable 7-month-old Hound mix puppy with a unique look and a big heart! Dottie is mostly white, but her black-spotted ear, solid black ear, and an adorable target circle around one eye give her a look that’s hard to forget. Friendly and playful, she’s always up for a game or cuddle and brings laughter to everyone she meets with her sweet personality. Dottie’s curiosity and charm make her the perfect little companion for anyone ready for a fun, loyal friend. Dottie weighs 25 lbs right now and we expect her to grow to be in the lower medium range.

Queenie is looking for her forever home! Such a gorgeous girl.

Foster Home Update: Queenie was so very happy to hear her brother Jester was adopted. This beautiful girl is an easy going puppy. She is working on house training & uses wee wee pads pretty well. She LOVES to snuggle with her people. She has learned to sit very quickly. Queenie loves romping in the snow. She enjoys playing with toys & fetch. She likes playing with the dogs in our home. Foster update on NYLA - Sweet dog that loves snuggles with other dogs, adults and especially kids. She is already getting the hang of going outside and letting us know when she needs to go out. She is good on the leash. She loves to play with toys but happily shares with humans and dogs. She is totally chill with the cats. Even my 'super cautious with new dogs' cat likes her!

We often have applicants who think they need to be home for a certain amount of time to “settle our new dog in”- but that’s not really the case. Getting routines, as they will be the majority of the time, is so much better for them! Crating safely while you are at work is one of those very important routines.

Barney came to visit last week and is feeling much better. He is finishing up his land round of antibiotics and working on getting the last few pounds back on him. He truly is a miracle dog and we are so grateful for all the support we received to make him better ✨️

One more transport to help some pups have a happy holiday!

Barney has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. He caught a respiratory virus that turned into pneumonia within 2 days. Due to his poor condition he has to fight harder than most our dogs. He is at the emergency vet clinic on oxygen and IV medications. Please help us to take care of Barney by donating towards his vet bills. He deserves a fighting chance.

Our Hound Dog Barney has endured a lot in the last few months. He almost starved to death, was severely beaten by his kennel mates and full of parasites. He is on his road to recovery now ♥️ #anotherlifesaved #fosteringsaveslives #adopt #dogs #adoptdontshop #grateful #dogrescue
