Fred is one of the pups from the litter surrendered to rescue back in February this year. He is Cooper's brother.

Fred was a lucky one - Here he is in his adopted home 🏡 keeping warm on an autumn evening, snuggled up with one of his Feline siblings.

Isn't this just the cutest 😍

Fred's adopted family say that he is an amazing dog, who loves everyone and everything. Dogs, cats, children, you name it and Fred is loving it 🩵

This is why we rescue - to give dogs like Fred a chance at the most amazing life.

Looking for creative geniuses 😀

Hi all - I am a volunteer here at Last Hope Rescue and I will be having a stall at next year's Bullie Bash to help raise funds for the rescue.

I am paying to attend the event out of my own pocket as the rescue doesn't have funds to cover our fundraising activities.

I would really like to have a Last Hope Rescue banner and leaflets or business cards to hand out at the event. Do we have any followers who are good at designing such items and access to a printer, who would be willing to provide these for us?

I will also be looking for new items to sell or raffle on the stall, with 100% of the money raised, going to the rescue 🐕 So if anybody has any items they could donate, please let me know 🙏

If anybody is planning on attending the event, please drop by the stall and say hello 👋 It will be amazing to meet some of our supporters. It's totally dog friendly so if I get to cuddle some pooches, even better 😁

Can we have a whoop whoop 🤗

Look who's gone and got herself adopted 💕

Not only did Dottie celebrate her 1 year old birthday this month, she also celebrated her official adoption day.

Dottie started her life in one of our amazing foster homes 🏡 A foster home who did absolutely incredible work with Dottie and we definitely think that had Dottie not had the opportunity of being cared for by this wonderful foster family, her adoption day may have never arrived. This is what fostering acheives ❤️

Thank you to her foster family and a huge thank you to her adopted family who are equally amazing.

We are absolutely delighted for Dottie. She couldn't have found a better home.

This girl is one of a kind, and she now has her whole life ahead of her, full of adventures with her humans and canine siblings. Live your best life beautiful girl. You are loved by so many hearts 💕

We look forward to hearing all about your adventures and the happiness you bring to your forever family.

How to write this post......I don't even know where to start and can barely see the screen through my tears 😢

A young pup needed help and we welcomed him into our rescue. We named him Buddy.

Nearly 4 weeks he has been in our care and in those weeks he has taken our hearts and imprinted them with his pawprints 🐾

Don't ever underestimate the impact a tiny animal life can have on fully grown adults.

We are totally broken and devastated 💔 Baby Buddy today gained his wings and has made his final journey. He was 7 weeks old 😢

The specialists advised he had zero chance of survival and we had no choice but to stop his pain. He was in pain, so much pain and we will never let a tiny soul suffer at our hands. We are a rescue that fights for neglected and abused animals, despite the odds stacked against us, and to have to make a decision like this, breaks us emotionally and mentally. We are not God and we do not want to have to make these decisions. It is abhorrent that we are forced to make this decision because people continue to breed unwell dogs 🤬 Every day we want to give up - we are all caring humans with feelings and emotions - we are not strong, but yet, we see the face of the next abandoned, abused or neglected pup and how do we say no! We can never give up because the breeders will never give up. If we aren't there to pick up the pieces, who will be!

Buddy could have died alone and in pain had he not come to Last Hope Rescue but instead we were there holding him, hugging him, and telling him how special he is, even though it was breaking our hearts.

Thank you to those who supported us with trying to save Buddy. We tried so hard, we really did.

Rest in eternal peace, little fella. We love you more than you would think possible ❤️ Out of pain now and able to run free over the 🌈

He is really not well 😢

He has been transferred today to the referral centre.

The estimate we have received is £2,400 to £4,000 😫 Confirmation attached to pics on original post.

How about a little pupdate on some of the pups from the litter we rehomed earlier this year 😍

Doug, Storm, Phil, Bella, Agnes and Jack & Zeus are all settled into their forever homes and loving life 😀

Each pup has their own little personality and all are being shown the way of the world by their canine siblings 🐾

These pups are so lucky to have found such amazing humans as each family is putting in so much time & hardwork in making sure the pups have the best start in life and learn to be balanced & well mannered dogs 🐕 The pups which are attending training schools, are excelling in their classes and are building great bonds with their humans.

We are absolutely delighted to have found such wonderful homes. We know these pups are loved and adored 💕

Stay happy beautiful ones and keep on having the adventures of a lifetime.

Our hearts are full knowing how well looked after the dogs are that get adopted from Last Hope Rescue

Update - 6/10 12.30pm

Buddy remains at the vets. They still are not sure if its Meningitis or a past trauma. So tests continue. He is still in pain though and that's why the vets are keeping him in as we would never leave a pup to be in pain.

More updates to follow as we know more.

Not the pupdate we would like to post - poor Buddy who came to us recently is very sick 😢

He has been at the vets and is being kept in for observation and tests.

It's suspected Meningitis 💔

What a horrible start he has had to his short life 😔

The vets are doing what they can for him and all we can do is pray 🙏 for him.

The current bill is at £980 and will continue to increase the more tests and meds he needs.

Donations needed for Marvin 😢

We've been at the vets today with Marvin. He has had xrays which sadly confirmed he has hip and elbow dysplasia 💔 Today's bill cost us £1000 and now the vet wants to do a CT scan on both front elbows as he has issues with the bone lengths (one is longer than the other) so they need to investigate further.

The estimate for the CT scan is £3,000 (£1,500 per elbow). We simply don't have the funds for this 😒 but we offered Marvin rescue back up so we will do whatever we have to, to find the funds.
