Bubba decided that today he’d prefer to be dried on the floor and couch and that his picture should be taken on there too.

Of course I said that’s perfectly ok😂.

Bubba enjoyed a good deshed, ear clean, wrinkle clean, vitamin E and manuka honey paw and nose palm and a nice spray of cologne. He left smelling gorgeous 🙌🏻.

Beautiful boy Benji.

This was Benjis first time with myself, and considering it was a new environment and with someone he doesn’t know he did great!!
Was informed with previous grooms he hasn’t enjoyed the drier, but with lots of patience and encouragement Benji gave in and let me dry him with the drier ! I was so proud .

He enjoyed a good deshed and tidy, aswell as paw balm, ear clean and some cologne ! He left smelling unreal 🐾🤍
With regular scheduled grooms I know he’ll do great !

Some new exciting treatments coming to Lulusgrooms June 2024!

I have been doing lots of research for some fantastic treatments to offer your FURry friends when being pampered with Lulusgrooms to make their grooming experience super relaxing and comfortable. I’ve saw nothing but great reviews from the products that will be coming soon and saw multiple groomers offering the same services and products (Product name will be shown once arrived) which assures how great they are!!.

The mud bath treatments are a fantastic product to use as they are full of essential nutrients and minerals to help keep your dogs coat and skin in great condition. Especially for those who have sensitive skin. The deshed mud bath will be applied and left on for a period of 5-15 minutes depending on the condition of the dogs coat before they enjoy a relaxing bath! The mud acts as an exfoliate which will definitely benefit those dogs that have tender skin leaving the dog soothed and glossy✨.

Facials are coming for your canines to enjoy a good massage during their bath, and some of those facials will also act as a brightening facial. Leaving your dogs looking and feeling fabulous!
I will have multiple selections of luxury shampoos and conditioners all which will be determined by the individual dog and which will benefit them the most! Leaving them smelling delicious !🥰😍.

‘Get to know your groomer’.
My name is Charlotte, and I am 26 years of age. I have been in the grooming industry gaining salon experience since I was 15. I was took on by a lovely woman called Caroline who gave me a Saturday job. I worked with Caz on and off for around 7/8 years. She showed me just how much I love grooming and has continued to support me to this day.
After losing my mum in 2019, I lost myself for quite some time. I knew my mum wanted me to Pursue my dreams of working alongside animals so in 2021 I decided to take the plunge and go back to college . I completed a 2 year course and in 2023 left with a distinction, and a Level 3 advanced animal management qualification.
I’ve just completed my first year of university as a zoology student and have a further 3 to go.
I knew grooming held a special place in my heart, so in December of 2022 I decided to complete a level 3 dog grooming course. I’m so glad I did ! As In March of 2023 I qualified as a professional groomer.
So who is the dog in my pictures?
This is Lulu. Lulu was my 11 year old Cavachon. She was my best friend, my comfort, my baby. Anyone who personally knows me knows how much this dog meant to me, and how much she’s got me through these last few years. On the 5th April 2024 lulu crossed the 🌈bridge and It absolutely broke my heart.
Not long after losing her the opportunity of working at chops became available. It felt like a sign🌈. I love coming into a place where there’s constant kisses and happy tails and animals that are genuinely happy to just be in your presence (mostly when they’re not on the grooming table and being fed yummy treats🤣).
An opportunity has came for me to create my own business and I have grabbed it with both hands. In memory of my sweet girl I decided to name that business Lulusgrooms. I promise to continue educating and bettering myself to provide the best care possible to your dogs and treat the dogs in my care like my own until they leave them doors again.
I am so grateful to those who have already trusted myself, and who have sent multiple supportive messages and recommendations to family and friends.💖

Gorgeous boy Ottis!

Ottis enjoyed a deshed service which included a Manuka sensitive wash due to him having a skin condition. He also had his ears and wrinkles cleaned, and vitamin E and Manuka honey paw and nose balm applied.
He looks and feels so much better now🥰

Well I have fell in love with gorgeous Kobe. The most loving french bulldog ever.

Kobe came in for his deshed service. He enjoyed a bath and dry, had his nails clipped, wrinkles cleaned and ears cleaned. I also applied a Vitamin E and Manuka honey paw and nose balm and finished with cologne. He’s left looking and smelling delicious😍🐾.

How often should your Dog be professionally groomed??

Well here’s a little insight...
Keep in mind that this will vary on the coat condition of your dog, and the personal preference of owners.
Many will request their dogs to have tidies in between full grooms.
Having to take into consideration whether owners wish to have their dogs groomed into show cuts which will require more time to maintain the condition of the coat and will therefore require a strict schedule. It also depends on the undercoats and how maintained they are.
Short haired, long haired, curly coats , silky coats define how often they should be professionally groomed.
Curly coated dogs I’d advise to be brushed thoroughly everyday making sure you’re getting as close to the skin to ensure no risk of matting. Dogs such as Cockapoos have high maintenance coats and without the correct maintenance will easily Matt.
Those that are left longer in between grooms should still be brushed atleast once to twice a week to help any shed that may be building up.

Angel was in for her Deshed and tidy and I think she looks super cute after her groom. 💖

Beautiful Cocker Spaniel Lennons before and after.

This was Lennons first time with myself and only his second ever groom. With a lot of encouragement and patience we got his groom completed .
He is super loving and super happy and even though he was unsure with the grooming process, he did brilliant. Regular grooms and he’ll do great. 💛
