After consulting with Dr. Lee, it was confirmed that Jensen has a condition called Carpal Laxity Syndrome, where the carpal joint (wrist/paw area) is weak and will “buckle” causing his legs to bow out, and his paws to turn in an unnatural way. He has compensated for this by learning how to walk short distances, take a little rest and continue on.
Will he ever walk normally? With time, rest, supplements, physical therapy, stability braces… his legs will be good as new! He is on an immune system supplement, fruit & veggie snacks to boost some vitamin intake, a weight gaining plan and a physical therapy regiment.

Repost from Mastiffboyduo 🐾Our @dogleggs came today! A month ago I posted about how we ordered some dog elbow pads for Cosmo since his right elbow has a hygroma. His left one started to get one too but that went away on its own. He has plenty of soft beds but he chooses the floor a lot and he plops himself down plus he’s super clumsy due to his big paws. 🤣 The last month his hygroma has gotten slightly bigger so I went ahead and ordered @dogleggs Thursday evening and let me just say- I can already tell just how well made they are and they cover his whole elbow! So here’s to day 1 (again 😭) but hopefully his hygroma will be gone soon!
