We want to re-introduce another brindle babe 🥹 as she hasn’t received any applications either!

Imogen aka Immy was rescued from a Southern Alberta community back in November of 2024. She is approximately 5-6 months old, up-to-date on her vaccines, and will be spayed soon!

We are calling her our WAM “Heinz 57" pup as we don’t really have a best breed guess for her! All we know is that she is 💯 cuteness! 😊

She is currently in a foster home in Calgary with other dogs, cats and children! Her nickname is cuddle bug, because that is her favourite thing to do! ♥️

Immy is housetrained, crate trained and doing well with her basic commands!

We can’t believe no applications have come in for our sweet goofball Kia! 🐾

So we thought we would share her story with all of you! Kia and her sibling Harlow came into our care at the end of August, when they were only around 4-5 weeks old. They were rescued from a northern Saskatchewan community. We do know that her dad was a brindle mastiff and her mom was a medium size collie cross.

Kia was the runt of the litter. Her sister Harlow, who has been adopted was always much bigger than her!

Kia is just short of 6 months old! She is up-to-date with all her vaccines and will be spayed next month!

Kia is currently in a foster home in Southern Alberta. Her foster home has another dog and cats. She has been around kids as well!

Kia loves adventure! She loves her daily walks, and playtime! She is housetrained, crate trained and is learning her commands very well! Kia loves to cuddle with her foster hoomans, and pretty much anyone that she meets! She can be a little shy when meeting new dogs, but quickly warms up to them! Plus, she will do anything for a treat! 😁

A 2024 recap 🤩

✨30 cats and 37 dogs were rescued and placed into WAM foster homes!

✨Wag-A-Muffins celebrated their 5th anniversary in 2024, and we are incredibly grateful for all of your support and generosity!

✨We hit 4000 followers on Facebook ... TODAY!

We are looking forward to continuing our mission in 2025 by providing love, care and safety for animals in need. We wouldn’t be able to run our rescue without all of our volunteers, foster homes, adopters and supporters! ♥️

Our muffin Fez is looking for his forever home! He is approximately 1 years old, up to date on vaccines and neutered. His foster mom says he is one smart boy, gentle treat taker, zoomies lover and loves to sleep on his doggy bed! Fez is currently being fostered in Calgary! 😁♥️🥰

Both South and West stores currently have an Angel (Giving) Christmas Tree 🎄 set up to support local rescues! This a great opportunity to support a rescue near you by choosing an animal (picture) from the tree and spoiling them with kibble, treats, toys, etc …

Our muffin was Kia was chosen by a customer, and was spoiled with kibble, wet food, p*e pads and toys! Thank you so much! 🥰

We welcomed 3 more dogs into our rescue last week! We will start off by introducing Freyja 💕 She is almost 5.5 months old. She loves playing with all of her toys, cuddling and hanging out with her foster sister 🐕!
