It’s another scorcher 🥵 out today. Please be very careful and mindful about your self and your animals in this heat. Overheating can and will happen very quickly. Make sure you do NOT cleave your dogs in locked hot cars. Provide shade, lots of cool, clean water and air conditioning.
Remember brachiocephalic dogs(short nose dogs), obese and those under 6 months old will overheat so fast.

How it started vs How it’s going.
These two are a love match! After a few days of “What the heck?!?!”on Sasha’s part- she quickly learned how to romp like a true shepherd. Now she is giving Sampson a run for his money.

Good morning, everyone!
Just a quick bit of housekeeping.
1. We are back from DC and (finally) over covid. This round wiped me out more than I anticipated.
2. We added a new friend to our Mari’s Mates pack. Give a welcome bark to our new baby, Sasha Lily.
3. Our Wookie is slowly adjusting to being an older sibling. He’s used to being the baby- so keep some good thoughts for us as we settle in.
4. The rough survey is almost done! I will have it out by Friday!!
5. (Saved the best for last) We had a vet reach out to us with interest on helping this project!!!! This was the motivation I needed to refocus after being sick.
