Please join us....

We are a group of 7 members working closely with the South Sudan’s Ministry of Livestock & Fisheries and the Kenya SPCA to bring the 1st ever spay/neuter campaign to South Sudan. The only thing missing are the funds to make this effort a reality! Once we raise the money, we will hold the 2-week campaign, which will include: animal health screening; up to 500 spay and neuter surgeries for owned and free-roaming cats and dogs in and around Juba, South Sudan’s capital; rabies vaccination (other vaccinations if they can be obtained); basic care, including de-worming, treatment of external parasites, treatment of skin, ear, and eye problems, and basic treatment of injuries and wounds; and humane education for children and adults. Three very experienced staff from Kenya SPCA will join our local team of vets, vet assistants, and support staff, who will be trained to organize and run high volume community-based s/n campaigns. The funds we raise will purchase supplies and equipment so we can continue the effort to humanely control South Sudan’s cat and dog populations.
