Mr. Brody "Brodalicious", giggles, and Shepard "Shep" playing today😁🧚♀️
Shep is still very shy, but slowly, he is acclimating and starting to run with The Gang🧚♀️🙏🏻
Slow and steady wins the race👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for bringing your babies down to RiverDog for fun and games!
Also, please note!!
If you haven't made your pup's boarding reservations for now through Labor Day (or beyond?), please get them to me ASAP! I am fortunate so many of you lovely folks have been referring family/friends/acquaintances, but the result of many wonderful new doggy clients is a reduction in availability for Holidays and such! So hurry, hurry, one and all!
Thank you for your business to RiverDog! We are grateful for your Loyalty!
Peace and Good Health,
Lyn and Pat

Captain came for his first BAC today, and sweet Rubi invited him to a game of "Catch me if you Can"!!!!
Captain hasn't learned yet how to stretch it out...give me a couple of DayCamp days, and this half BC, half Labrador will begin to learn how to be an agile runner!😘👼😊😁
I hope everyone enjoyed the unexpected break between the storms today!

Winding down before Half-day go-homes, but Abigail had one more burst of energy 💗
Yet, what do I see but new pup, Shepherd, hiding on fenceline...then a crab-crawl on approach by other pups/me. We leashed up and went for a few spins about the yard and he was fine and happy on-leash..he just needs more exposure in a group. He is going to be an awesome addition to the DayCamp, as he is a good player, with "known" pups...we moved his day to expand his world, and he started well, then reached his point of I'm done...his Mama was coming shortly or I would have called to say, "ok, he's reached his summit for this exercise", but again, she was already on way for this short-ish visit on a new day✌ Next week we'll move him back to Tuesday where he's comfortable...then back to Thursday to try again *new to him* pups 🥰💗🙏🏻
Thank you for allowing me to help shape your pups into "whole dogs"!

Three friends romping in the water last Saturday. It was 118°, and the river water actually felt delicious, delightful, and as you see Lylah-Lou was delirious because not only was there Water, but also there was a young 9mo, intact, pup (Miles) onboard and Lylah-Lou just luuuuuuuvs intact males😄😄😄💗 she's such a little flirt 😜
Thank you for bringing your babies to RiverDog for a rollicking, splish-splashing, good time!!
Featuring Miles, Lylah-Lou and Brodie, too! We had a couple others also, but they swear they're Melting when a teensy-tiny drop of water falls on them! Lol I'm melting...I melting....oh what a World!'
So, DayCamp attendance is limited🙏🏻💗😝
Thank you, be well

*Caution, sound might be loud?*
Last weekend was our biweekly irrigation, and though only about 2/3rds head (vegetation clean out of main canal 6/3-6/7), the pups who aren't allergic to water enjoyed themselves immensely 🤸🏼🎉👏🏻❤
Featuring: Silly, Sweet MaggieG, Tilly "Wheels" T-pants, and Bella and The TT's (The Trouble Twins) Rocky and Trooper❤🌻🧚☮
Thank you for bringing your babies down to RiverDog for playful days and peaceful nights -- and sometimes a river runs through it all❤🧚🌻🤣🤣☮

Cece today, entertaining herself until Theo arrived 🤭😄😇
She's turning into just the nicest pup🥰 lol maybe by the time she's 10 she might begin to slow down🧚🤣🤣😋❤ we love Cece 💘
I do love that kicking the ball for her, and turning on a sprinkler are all the entertainment she needs ❤❤❤
May your hearts be as light and fun-loving as Cece's!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Brodie, and Happy 7th Adoption Day Lylah-Lou 💗
My how time flies! Just yesterday, it seems, Brodie was 3 months old...now he's THREE Years Old!!! And Lylah-Lou is EIGHT!! I still recall when Tami asked me to come meet/evaluate Lylah-Lou up at Jenn Bulmer's Tails of Rescue, 7 years ago! We sat cross-legged on the floor, and as I was watching Tami interact with Lylah-Lou, and Lylah's behavior, she slunk across to me, climbed into my lap and fell asleep❤ That weekend, or shortly thereafter, Tami and David won Lylah-Lou in a very active adoption war...Lylah-Lou had *numerous application holds on her (I want to say 6/7 applications to adopt her).
Lylah-Lou had a very hard, very sad start to her sweet life💔😭 she needed stability, and she craved to be loved😭❤❤❤
When Lylah-Lou was rescued from a now closed, deplorable foster care home, she and another pup were found in a windowless, pumphouse-type shed. According to the paperwork, Lylah-Lou was 6 months old. When she was rescued, she was completely matted and covered with feces, they had to shave her entire body nearly to her skin, and at 6 months old she weighed in at a DEPLORABLE 12.5 +/- pounds😭😭😭😭😭💔 She was being starved to death...and though she started her life being starved, she has no resource guarding of her food dish. She will try to steal Bodie's "bones", at home, but, not once have I ever seen her be aggressive about food at RiverDog. Pups are so resilient...when they are provided their basic necessities, stability, a routine, and Love, so much patience and Love, when they feel safe, they begin to blossom 🌸 Lylah-Lou has been an excellent example of a 100% transformation.
She still has some phobias, but with Tami and David's kind and patient loving care, frequent visits to RiverDog's DayCamp, she has come so very far🙏🏻💗💗💗😘🙏🏻☮
Tami and David have been RiverDog Family since 2005, starting out wit
