Hello Three Dogs friends and family!! It’s been a long while since we’ve posted any updates, so here we go! Sorry if it’s long!

The three dogs are busy living their best lives… Rosie the golden moved out with her big brother last Fall (who also got married!) and is now going to be a big sister…. We’re beyond excited! Chloe the shih tzu is silly as ever and super attached to mom. Sandy is going to be 14 this summer and is enjoying her retirement and lazy days.

Ellie! She is also living the life and is too busy most days for baking.… her work, friends, family, church, Special Olympics and all the things keep her going nonstop.

We have loved every minute of baking treats for all of our furry friends and appreciate all of your love and support! This being said, we have decided to officially hang up our aprons. I’m sure we’ll bake on occasion for our pups, but will not renew our license and permits to sell them. It’s been a fun ride and there’s a season for everything - we’re looking forward to the next adventure! Thank you again!

We will be hosting a peanut butter licking contest at our Pet Palooza and Doggie Dash event. Whichever Small & Large doggo can clean their spoon off the fastest will be the winner of one of our "SNIF" Munch peanut butter chew toys! Any dog is welcome to participate!😁

Don't worry if running isn't your thing! We will have the La Porte Animal Shelter on-site for adoptions, pet-related vendors, AND a DJ and it's all FREE to attend! 🎶

Official State Dog of Texas
The Blue Lacy

The Blue Lacy was adopted officially as the Texas state dog on June 18, 2005. The Blue Lacy is the only dog breed that originated in Texas and is named after brothers George, Ewin, Frank and Harry Lacy who settled in Texas in 1858. It is said that the family used greyhound, scenthound and coyote in creating the animal. The legislature said “Blue Lacys were a common fixture on ranches in the Southwest, where it was said that one such dog could do the work of five cowboys; intelligent, energetic, fast, eager to work, and easy to train and handle, Lacys herded cattle, hogs, and chickens, and also served as droving and hunting dogs.” The breed almost disappeared in the 70s but a recent effort has increased its numbers once again.

Woofstock is finally here! Only 5 more days until this paw-some event. We can't wait to see everyone out at the park enjoying the music, shopping at the vendor booths and meeting with the local shelters. This event is completely FREE and we welcome everyone to come.
