Sad news today as Evie has gone to join Megan in the great pheasant chase in the sky. The most elegant dog I’ve ever met and also the bossiest. We all learned to give up a chair when she wanted it and attend to her every request immediately or be barked at until we did. It was an absolute pleasure to be trusted with this very special dog and my thoughts are with her family. Run free now Evie x

Doggie daycare is tailored to the needs of each dog and to the weather. We have a good selection of walks from the house which suit dogs who have to stay on leads and those who need a good zoom.

Dearest customers, I have just received notice from East Devon District Council that the licence fee is being significantly increased (by 36%). It is therefore time for me to increase the rates for daycare and home boarding. I will continue to offer the highest 5* standards of health, safety and welfare as well as a flexible service with extended hours when you need them and all the home comforts our dogs insist on.
Daycare £20
Boarding £30
This is effective from 1st September 2024.

I have checked and it’s ok to go along if your dog is not a sausage dog! If they are friends with a sausage dog or if they like sausages they are welcome too!!!

We’re all getting very excited about “Sausage Sunday” on 4th August from 3pm til 5pm

We’ll have the Pup Cups and the Doggy Ice-cream but you’ll need to remember to bring your poop-bags and take home any “little presents” your friends might leave behind. Also all doggy’s must be kept on a lead at all times but do feel free dress them up in their cutest outfits we’d love to see them!!
All monies raised will go directly to DMT Dachshund Rescue

🐾SAUSAGE SUNDAY 🐾

Yes, you read that right folks. On Sunday 4 August we are hosting a sausage dog meet up!! We'll be raising funds for DMT Dachshund Rescue, a charity VERY close to our hearts are sausage dog owners ourselves. DMT is a UK-based charity that rescue dachshunds from kill shelters and the meat trade in Asia.

🌭 Your four-legged bestie will enjoy a puppachino, a doggy ice cream or yummy pork sausage and fun with their doggy friends

All breeds (and dog lovers) welcome!

At Coldharbour Farm Shop and Field Kitchen EX11 1QL, Sunday 4th August. Our cafe is open from 9am til 8pm but the dog meet-up is from 3pm til 5pm

I'm looking forward to having your dogs on their holidays here over the summer. Almost fully booked so I will now only take holiday bookings from dogs who come here regularly for daycare or holidays. No new customers for now, sorry. Boarding is £28. This rate is applied per 24 hour period and my opening hours are 0730-2130 with no additional charges for peak periods, weekends or bank holidays. Too hot for us to walk this afternoon so we made do with the garden, where there are plenty of shady places. Early walk this morning to the woods where we found bogs and ditches to keep cool.

Lillie and Bea spent the weekend here and had an exciting time looking for squirrels. Once they’d exhausted themselves they settled into a favourite chair in the sun. Such little cuties!

Poo bags for sale. 100 bags for £3.20
These bags are so strong and large and have been tested by many of my fellow dog owners. They also save the plant as they use 75% recycled plastic and oceanex. Most poo bags go in the general waste bin so compostable bags are pointless really. So you can do your bit for the environment and use recycled plastic poo bags.
Take some samples for your own test drive if you like - you won't be disappointed!

Jasper wasn’t sure about paddling but Reggie showed him how.
Benji was sure he needed chips but waited patiently under the table.
