Mom and I are at the Barn Hunt SE Regional! Quick; send warm clothes; Mom is turning into an icicle and I wouldn't mind a rain coat! We have a whole bunch of friends here from Florida, this is great! We are going to have so much fun hunting rats and freezing in May 🤣

Mom judged Barn Hunt at DTCT and Breeze got to tag along and hunt rats (thanks to great back up judges). And to make it even more special; our friend Kimberly Norman Photography, LLC got some very good photos of Ms Breeze. Breeze earned her Barn Hunt RATCHX14 at this event.

Thanksgiving weekend I traveled down to South Florida to judge Barn Hunt. Breeze tagged along with me. This is my second year enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday with friends from South Florida. I had a great time judging a bunch of wonderful teams; thank you all for coming out and sharing your holiday spirit!

I am thankful for all of the dog sport activities that I get to share with my dogs. And to the clubs who work to sponsor activities; thank you! And cheers to all of the judges, volunteers, competitors and enthusiasts who keep these fun events going for all of us to enjoy.

On a Breeze personal note; this weekend marked the one year of her health crash last Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for the wonderful, smart, and compassionate veterinarian professional care we received. Breeze has her little tiny bit of prednisone daily to treat atypical addison's disease and she is doing great and feeling on top of the world.

Breeze: "Mom keeps leaving the house with that yellow messenger bag. The bag that means rat hunting is the game. And the nerve of her; she has been leaving me at home! There was the big launch of NASDA in Florida, and I was all ready to go show my pal's how its done. And I was going to take Jimmy and we were going to do teams. Sadly, this wicked Hurricane Nicole came along and changed the plans and I had to stay home! The audacity of it all.

Fortunately for all the humans involved; Mom saved me from chaos and took me to Barn Hunt this weekend at G2. I had a grand time! Maybe Mom did also; but honestly; it's all about me right now. Thank you Amy Cloverdale O'Brian for all of the fun courses, and thanks for keeping my Mom's mind in the game so I could bring home lots of great wins!

The Fuller household all survived Hurricane Ian with minimal damage and Mom Dianne is slowly getting her vision back after the recent eye surgery; so Breeze and Mom went on an adventure! We joined the fun at G2 Barn Hunt and got to visit with all of our friends, have some fun hunting those rats and generally escaped from reality for a few days. It was great! Along the way Breeze earned a new Crazy 8 title and her RATCHX11! Breeze sez: Yum, Mom pays me when I hunt 😻

Breeze and I traveled up to Aiken, SC to judge along with our pals Kathy Marble-Brown and Lola. Aiken Barn Hunt is a lovely location with so many nice people and happy dogs. Breeze was a super-star, earning her RATCHX10! Breeze is the fourth Belgian Tervuren to earn this level. She is such a happy hunter! I was so happy to have Rob Robinson come out and photograph the herding trial; I'm thrilled to have and share these wonderful memories. Breeze: For Jimmy's birthday I went to a Barn Hunt trial! Found a bunch of rats, visited a lot of friends, had a bunch of fun and brought home some pretty ribbons to taunt Jimmy! The next day we had a grand party for Jimmy. Then the next day, I went to Barn Hunt practice. I sure enjoyed Jimmy's birthday weekend :D

Jimmy: Aloha! And happy birthday to me and my 'bro Kenner! Here is a 'pro photo of me a few months ago doing something I love and today Mom snagged a "Jimmy in the wild" photo of me in my casual undress! It's been a great, mostly fun and easy going year and I'm looking forward to more adventures for my next year around the globe !

Jimmy: I had a great few days herding here in hot, steamy Central Florida. I got my last 2 legs for my Started D Course Sheep to earn my title; along the way earning First place in each trial. And today, my title run, I pulled out my best happy pants and earned High In Trial. Mom and Dad (especially Dad) are so proud! Special thanks to Deb Mintzer / Acorn Acre Farms and the Mid Florida Australian Cattle Dog club for offering these D course trials. D course is fun!

And of course, the best of thanks to Amy Hill for tolerating my shenanigans and loving me in spite of myself. Today was a great day, I had so much fun out on that course with a bunch of 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑

Breeze: Last week, I had (lots of) dental surgery on Tuesday and on Friday I hunted rats! And I was the best little helper at the Information Table telling all of the visiting doggo's about the fun called Barn Hunt! I had a bunch of fun; even the misses were fun 😏 Thank you Norman Photography for all of the great photos of me and the other competitors.
