This planted the seed in my mind which would develop into the idea of producing handmade burial caskets as a fitting final resting place for beloved pets, either for home burials or in a pet cemetery. I designed my casket in traditional pine with some variations according to personal taste. I operate from my home workshop based in Northumberland UK and am planning to begin trading on 11th Septembe
r 2014. The casket will be fully lined with a choice of materials such as fur, Egyptian cotton or a fabric of your choice if available. It will be supplied either untreated to be painted or finished by yourself or in a choice of oil, stain or varnish. The lid is designed to fit snug and tight however if you prefer to be able to screw the lid closed it will be pre-drilled with screws supplied. Each casket will be supplied with a separate cross to mark the burial site. There is a mount where an engraved plaque can be fitted. This can be supplied if preferred or added after purchase. Ready to deliver within 2-3 days at present. Delivery to Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham, Charges dependent on distance from NE63 postcode. (Basically just to cover cost of fuel). As each casket is made individually by hand the sizes are given as a guide and are made to your specifications.
