Spring Puppies!

We are very excited here at Nicnak Labradoodles to announce our upcoming spring litter.

Our beautiful Nicnak Elsie Maree is due to have chocolate and caramel babies around September the 2nd. Mum, Elsie Maree, is a small medium and Dad, Amitys Turkish Delight, is a large miniature. These puppies will probably be small mediums.

Nicnak Labradoodles is a Registered Breeder with the Australian Labradoodle Association and all our parent dogs have had and passed their health testing including hip and elbow testing.

These puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready for their new family in the nice warm November :)

This is why I recommend you buy a puppy from a registered breeder.

Did you know that members of The Australian Labradoodle Association are required to test their dogs for health issues before breeding them?

The first dog breed association in the world to mandate mandatory DNA testing for PRA-PRCD (Progressive Retinal Atrophy – Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration) was the Australian Labradoodle Association. Since there is no treatment for PRA, the only method to eradicate the illness from the breed is to make sure that no offspring from a mating will be afflicted. Dogs can contract many diseases, PRA-prcd included.

Fortunately, science and proactive measures can help control the spread of some of these illnesses within the Australian Labradoodle breed. ALA breeder members are aware of each dog's genetic status through DNA-based health assessment, and responsible breeding can be planned. ALA breeder members are also required to screen for hip and elbow dysplasia using an internationally recognized protocols such as PennHip, AVA or OFA.

We do have two beautiful black girls available. These puppies have stunning glossy black non shedding coats and their grading is Pure Australian Labradoodles.

Nicnak Ebony (Light Green ribbon) will mature to be a medium.

Nicnak Ash (Purple ribbon) will be somewhere in the middle, large miniature/small medium.

Ebony has a shiny black non shedding fleece coat with a lovely white goatee and a white patch on her chest.
Pretty as a picture and a real sweetie.
Ebony is the biggest girl in the litter and I expect she will mature to be a medium size.

These puppies are graded PAL or Pure Australian Labradoodles.
(it goes ALF1, ALF2, ALF3 then PAL)

I have an absolutely stunning boy available from Nicnak Autumn Moon's litter. This is our black ribbon boy - Nicnak Harvest Moon.

This gorgeous guy has a non shedding gold fleece coat (check out the eyelashes), he will mature to be a small medium in size and will be ready for his new family in two weeks time. Just like his parents he has a lovely calm temperament, he is confident and a very happy little puppy.

What a little cutie, the smallest boy in the litter. Definitely takes after his Dad in terms of size.
This is Nicnak Raven - Red ribbon boy.

Every bit as cuddly as the boys these little munchkins bring so much joy and laughter.
At four and a half weeks the puppies have started on soaked biscuits but much prefer to wait for Mum.
