I am a local artist and budding photographer situated in the beautiful Swan Valley. Since a child, I have always collected things, from river pebbles, sea shells, crystals, little insects to pretty flowers! To this day I am still collecting the unique and beautiful (my partner thinks I am hording…I call it collections :) )

Inspired by Nature has various products, ranging from real handcrafted fra

med insects (including bettles, moths and of course butterflies!) to macro photography. All my insects are collected from around the world. I re-hydrate them to make them flexible again, and then spread them out on a styrofoam board with sewing pins, glass plates & paper. All of my framed pieces come with a card on the back that lists the species name and native location of the insect. All species are NON-CITES – meaning they are not endangered internationally or in Australia and are completely legal to own. My macro photography usually starts and ends in my backyard…you don’t have you venture out far to find something amazing! Custom orders for both the framed insects and macro photography are available. Gift certificates are available on request :)
