Ureteral jets are like little water fountains, showing off how well the kidneys and ureters are doing their job!
When everything’s working smoothly , youll see a nice, steady stream of urine flowing from the ureters into the bladder. But if there’s no jet, it’s like the water has been turned off--- that could mean something’s blocking the way (kidney stone or obstruction). If no jets are seen, it is time to investigate what’s going on!
Below is color flow picked up on a ureteral jet in the bladder!

It's a day to recognize three-legged pets and the people who care for them. This day celebrates the resilience of animals that face limb loss and life on three legs. It also raises awareness and helps people understand that animals with limb differences can live happy, fulfilling lives.

🐾 Why Ultrasounds Matter for Your Pet’s Health 🐾
Ultrasounds provide detailed views of your pet’s organs, helping us make better treatment decisions. Board-certified radiologists interpret our ultrasounds.
The 5 most common conditions we discover through abdominal ultrasounds:
Tummy Troubles (Gastroenteritis or Foreign Objects) –Ultrasound can help identify stomach issues or foreign objects that might be causing discomfort.
Liver Inflammation – We can see inflammation, which may indicate a health problem.
Spleen Disorders – Ultrasounds detect any issues with the spleen that could affect your pet’s health.
Kidney & Bladder Issues – From infections to stones, ultrasound is great for detecting kidney and bladder concerns.
Adrenal Gland Issues – Ultrasound helps us examine your pet’s adrenal glands, which play a key role in hormone regulation.
Ultrasound is a key tool in keeping your pet healthy. If you suspect any issues, we are here to help!
