Pancreatitis: inflammation of the pancreas, which is involved in digestion and blood sugar regulation.
There are many reasons for pancreatitis:
Infections
Trauma
Diet
Underlying diseases
Signs:
Loss of appetite (anorexia)
Vomiting/Diarrhea
Lethargy (low energy)
and many more...
The outlook depends on the severity of the pancreatitis and how quickly treatment is started. Some cats recover fully with appropriate care, while others with chronic pancreatitis may need long-term management.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared their beautiful memories and photos—your stories have filled our ofrenda with love and warmth. 🕯️❤️ We received 74 amazing submissions, each one a reminder of the joy, companionship, and unconditional love that our furry friends brought into our lives. It’s a privilege to be part of such a compassionate community.
