My mom got this for me for my birthday because she knows I love dogs and am bad at math. 🤦‍♀️

It’s been sitting unopened for over a year on my bookshelf.

When my friend was visiting me, she saw it and whipped it open. I realized I had COMPLETELY forgotten how to do multiplication work.

My wonderful friend re-taught me and I was surprised what a dopamine hit I got from finishing a problem! Is this why people love math?

It's all about consistency baby! Make sure you're always using the same hand signals and verbal cues when teaching your dog any new skill or trick. This is also why -- although a verbal marker like "yes" is definitely a lot more convenient than using a clicker -- a clicker tends to be more effective when training because it's always consistent, no matter who is using it!
