We see so many families who are truly struggling with their relationship with their dog- and we don't blame them! It is SO hard to be the leader and guardian your dog needs you to be when their behavior drives you insane, pushes you to your limits or is embarrassing. In all of our programs, we focus on helping you reset that relationship so that you can be the owner your dog needs to thrive and excel. If this foundation isn't set, then it will be hard to maintain the training we work hard to provide for your dog. And remember- when things get tough- your dog needs someone who is calm and trustworthy to show them what to do. If you are feeling frustrated with your dog, take a step back from the exercise or challenging environment, layer in some play and try again tomorrow. It isn't worth risking your relationship!

Coda is the cutest little Dachshund with the most demanding bark you have ever heard. He would boss his mom around like no other and not stop until he was picked up. Because of his nervousness and not knowing how to navigate life, he was a bite risk towards humans, and his mom knew they needed to make a change to increase everyone's quality of life.
Coda thrived during our custom Learn N’ Stay program and after 4 weeks this little guy went home with more confidence, a calmer outlook on life and an off switch for that barking!
Now it’s his family’s turn for training and we can’t wait to watch them progress😍 Good job everyone!!

I cannot recommend Abby enough! She has changed our lives tremendously with her amazing dog training skills! My husband and I actually stumbled across Abby in action downtown with another dog. I was amazed at the training she provided and how well the dog was doing in a large public setting on leash but without holding onto the leash. He placed and was RELAXED. I wasn’t even looking for a dog trainer and I said “I want my dog to do THAT!” We hired Abby within a week for a 3 week learn and stay.
Phoebe is a new dog. She is relaxed now and much less reactive than she ever was before to other dogs, distractions and other people during our walks. I walk her comfortably now without the tugging. She doesn’t jump on people who walk through the door and listens to direction so well. She no longer has me trained.
Abby is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and most importantly TRUSTWORTHY. It’s hard leaving a member of the family with someone you don’t fully know to stay with them for training but Abby is much more than Phoebe’s trainer now, she is our friend! Abby also isn’t JUST about training. She loves your doggo, gives them cuddles, attention and lots of needed affection and praise.

Rex graduated our puppy program like a champion, which is very fitting considering his human brothers are baseball champs😍
Rex has such a bright future, he's got the skills to help him learn how to be calm in the home, his mom learned how to properly guide him through puppyhood, and he's doing AMAZING with potty training too! 😎
Cane did amazing for his first 2 days of our Barn Hunt Trial by earning his RATN title!😍 He’s got 4 more runs left for this weekend to try for his RATO Title. Wish us luck💖
Joe's owners came to us needing help with Joe. He was in a shelter before they got him and when they took him home, no matter what they did, he was highly anxious, reactive to different things, and was just overall not great at regulating his emotions.
After 4 weeks, we taught this guy that he has choices to make when it comes to how he behaves. We showed him a way of relaxing that he had never known. We properly socialized him with many dogs, taught him how to create space and how to walk away when he's had enough instead of snapping or aggressively going after another dog. We showed him that when he trusts his humans, that freedom is abundant! His confidence soared and he got to achieve many firsts- we even found out he's got potential to herd sheep at WonderDog Farms
Joe went home a new found pup and now we will be training his parents until they feel they have a great handle on how to continue his success at full capacity!

A progression on Cowboy's new found life!
Cowboy is a young border collie who came to us extremely immature, anxious, and had no care for anyone around him.
He lives on a beautiful ranch and has so many amazing opportunities for freedom. We taught him that he has to listen to earn them!
He went from rolling in piles or horse p**p and running across the fields when his mom would call him in, to exploring more with his family, no crazy barking when the doorbell rings, and jumping at the front window like a wild man when people came over. With his new skills, we helped his mom be able to do more with him around the horses while keeping him safe bc he will now listen to her!
Can't wait to continue with his progress!
When an aggressive dog has responsible owners and a training management plan in order, life works and the dog benefits by getting a second chance, learning how to regulate stress, properly communicate, and make great choices. 😍
We can't wait to see Winnie's progress with her new owners!

We love it when our past training clients come to stay while their families are out of town. We can keep up their training and have a great time.
Group class at Lafreniere Park was awesome! We visited the art market & walked around the park a little. We passed ducks, dogs, kids, bikes, skateboards, food trucks, etc.
It was awesome! Everyone who came worked beautifully together!

It's always hard when you have to say goodbye to a friend, but this isn't goodbye, just a see ya later!
Garrett and Harlie started their training journey with us in March of 2023 with Harlie's reactivity towards dogs at an all time high.
Fast forward a year and some change and we have made some AMAZING progress and great memories together!
Garrett has gone above and beyond when it comes to follow up training with Harlie and shows up to almost every group class, utilizes our boarding (free training touch ups included), and always reaches out when he has a question or just a quick update pic on Harlie and her progress.
We hate to see you guys go, but yall will do great things in Florida!! Tell Grace to kick ass at school💖 we love yall!

Dog reactive, pushy, and boundary-Less Shadow (middle) is wrapping up her 6 week behavior modification training with Abby as a new woman lol. She will be reintroduced to her pack at home with the same rules and structure that she’s had while she’s been away. Dog’s that require behavior management plans aren’t easy, there is no magic “fix” to their issues. BUT, once they understand how to navigate the management plans created for them, the reward to see them enjoy life like a normal dog makes all the hard work worth it! Great job Shadow. Cheers to enjoying life❤️
That’s the sweeeeeet spot! Just a glimpse into our drop in visits! We love the pups and sometimes they love being at home and just being pampered with love and walks and play❤️🐾 We currently only do drop in visits in Hammond and Ponchatoula, but other locations coming after the new year🐾

I wanted to share this short clip of one of our training sessions with sweet Annie girl bc it just means so much to me. When I met Annie, I really was intrigued bc I knew she’d be one of my more challenging cases. She is such a sweetheart, but she had some kennel aggression, some serious anxiety, and needed work on focus and her commands! In working with her, I wanted to teach her that she can be interested in things around her, but she can’t always react the way she wants. Through a TON of consistency and accountability(and a @whistlelabs gps tracker) she did so well that we pushed the beginnings of off leash conditioning with no ecollar. Her genetics has played a huge role in her anxiety, but has also helped in the fact that she is so eager to work and please. Thanks to a little help from @happicanine CBD oil, she is no longer on edge. This has strengthened our training bond and the results are just incredible, not to mention her personality and facial expressions are hilarious 😂 Every day she has impressed me more and more and I can’t wait until she gets to go home and show off for her family❤️ Keep rockin’ it Annie.

Hey guys, Abby Here! I just want to tell you a little more about me and why I started this company:
I’m a dog mom to some gorgeous furbabes and am accompanied by my sweet Greg and our son Zach! I have such a deep passion for animals which has led me to starting this amazing company!
I have a long history with animals and absolutely love making a difference in people's and their pet's lives. When I was younger, I grew up with a serious fascination with dogs, labradors to be specific. I've watched them trained growing up as a girl and began working with them with basic commands as a hobby around 16 years old.
I studied Animal Science for about 3 years at LSU, and then from there was offered an amazing position as the Adoption Supervisor at my local no-kill animal shelter. Here I learned the ins and outs of top notch care for dogs and cats, the importance of socialization, and most importantly, helped give almost 1,000 animals the second chance they truly deserved.
It was then that I realized that while I loved rescue, the problem wasn't finding homes, the problem was that most dogs being surrendered were done so due to basic behavioral issues and owners who couldn’t balance keeping a dog and live their lives the way they wanted. From here, I decided to spread my wings and create a company that would not only help dogs, but would help the owners too.
Whether it giving snuggles, helping families that go on vacation or out of town, obedience training, or helping find a new home to an animal in need, I ensure that every animal is cared for as if they were my own.
Being able to provide a home away from home while you are out of town or helping you enjoy time with your dog after obedience training means the absolute world to me and is what sets us apart from our competition!
