So, after years of planning to display my rosettes I've finally actually gotten around to doing it!

Wire panels have been placed onto the wall so I can hang them up.

Have a few more special sashes to display (just need to get some more hooks to hold them) but for the most part its complete.

I also got a few extra shelves added to the trophy shelf (under the sash display) so can spread them out a little more.

There are still many years worth of rosettes & sashes that'll remain in storage tubs, but have a number of special ones finally out to be seen.

Absolutely mind blown - so proud of this girl!

She has made history once again, this time by being only the 2nd Cavy to ever reach 200 points! (The first being my Satin DE Golden Hashtag Nek Minnit).

To date, there have been less than a dozen cavies to reach 100 points, so for a cavy to double that amount is just incredible! On average, there is perhaps 2 or 3 cavies who reach the "Grand Champion" status each year (which is 60 points).

During her show career she has won countless Best in Groups as well as multiple Reserve in Show and Best in Show awards - including Reserve in Show at the 2023 Australian National Cavy Show! Best Marked at Sydney Royal and Canberra Royal shows 3 years running and Best Marked TWICE at the Australian National Show

I wasn't sure if this day would come, as she has been pipped for the BOB (and subsequently Best Marked) award a few times this year by my other black roans - but for the final show for 2025 she needed 4 points and earnt exactly that amount by winning Best Marked in Show at the NSWCC Boars vs Sows Show. 🥳

Will she now retire? Likely so, but that's certainly not because she's lost her mojo. I have some nice up and coming youngsters who may just be trying to take her crown next year 👑🤫 😜

What a great way to finish off the 2025 Show Season with a Best in Show win from my lovely Black Crested Sow.

The NSW Cavy Club held the Christmas "Boars vs Sows" Show, with Peter Wright judging the Boars show and Karen Nichols judging the Sows show

I was fortunate to have numerous Best and Reserve in Groups over the two shows as well as Best of Breed with each cavy I entered.

I also recently attended the GSCC show and has numerous in Show placings also.

Over the weekend I attended a double show ran by HVCC & GSCC. One show was judged by Cherie McCormack, the other by Tracy Taylor (doing an Assessment under Karl Kilpatrick). Cherie & Karl then compared the Winners of both shows and a few others they added to the lineup and selected their overall 4 Best.

I was fortunate with my results winning many BOBs from both shows, multiple Best & Reserve in Groups as well as Reserve in Show in both shows, plus Overall 2nd, 3rd & 4th in Show

Finally got around to adding a few of the recent trophies won to my display shelves. I've got boxes and boxes of beautiful rosettes and sashes won over the years so need to get around to organising the wall display so I can finally hang some of the significant ones up.

Very proud of how my cavies have done at their shows over the years 🥰 (and a few awards for the mice recently).
