Over the weekend I attended a double show ran by HVCC & GSCC. One show was judged by Cherie McCormack, the other by Tracy Taylor (doing an Assessment under Karl Kilpatrick). Cherie & Karl then compared the Winners of both shows and a few others they added to the lineup and selected their overall 4 Best.

I was fortunate with my results winning many BOBs from both shows, multiple Best & Reserve in Groups as well as Reserve in Show in both shows, plus Overall 2nd, 3rd & 4th in Show

Finally got around to adding a few of the recent trophies won to my display shelves. I've got boxes and boxes of beautiful rosettes and sashes won over the years so need to get around to organising the wall display so I can finally hang some of the significant ones up.

Very proud of how my cavies have done at their shows over the years 🥰 (and a few awards for the mice recently).

Always lovely to wake up in the morning to be greated by a healthy litter..... it's the icing on the cake to have a litt...

Will have to think of some nice names for these 2 boys.

Now, hmm... with both being boars which do I keep and which do I move on, or do I keep both and move on an adult, showable boar instead 🤔🫣 oh decisions decisions

Wow 🥰 What a fabulous National Cavy Show for 2025. Could not be happier with my results.

I took a small team of 9 cavies in 8 breeds, with all but 1 receiving 1st places, and walking away with 5 Best of Breeds and 2 Reserve of Breeds.

My Black Roan Sow Chey's on Point did me so proud again, not only winning the Best of Breed in an extremely competitive class with so many stunning black roans, but going on to win Best Marked for the 2nd time, along with the Elysee Imagine trophy for the Best Roan. I have been fortunate to have won this 10 out of 13 years it has been awarded.

Thank you so much to our fantastic judges Petr Tejml (Czechoslovakia), Lena Tysk (Sweden) & Barbara Coles (New Zealand) for their wonderful and encouraging feedback.

Recently I attended the NSWCC & CCCC Joint 2 day show at Tallong with New Zealand judged Debbie Lawrie & Andorra Sedgeman.

It was a very successful weekend with multiple BOBs each day as well as a number of Best and Reserve in Groups. Saturday was a day of 7 Specialty Groups (no overall BIS awards) whilst Sunday was a full Standard Breed Show
