We were back at Thomas Dunn Learning Center yesterday fixing community cats with Operation SPOT! While in the middle of this pet overpopulation crisis, it’s fantastic knowing these cats will never breed again! They will not produce innocent and vulnerable kittens outdoors. Kitten season is still in full swing, so if you feed them fix them! The cats will thank you for it #animalovers #heatwave #spayandneuter #spayneutersaveslives #communitycats
Our efforts are constantly growing and expanding because we know the need is there. Here’s just a few of many kitties to receive TNR surgery so far in 2024. Their lives will be so much better for it ❤️. stlfco.org #animalovers #tnr #tnrworks #tnrsaveslives #spayandneuteristhesolution
July 28th TNR Clinic Sponsor is needed! $2,200 contribution to fix over 40 Community cats in your name!
St. Louis Feral Cat outreach is looking for a sponsor for our next TNR Clinic. In collaboration with the wonderful team at Opspot, we have the opportunity to fix 40 feral community cats
Our funds are not in great shape right now. Feral Cat Outreach’s cost per cat is $55, so we are looking for a business, an individual or a group of individuals to sponsor the $2,200.00 needed to pay for the next clinic on July 28th.
The cats will be happier and healthier. Will not contribute to the horrific overpopulation problems we’re facing right now. Unfortunately cats are very prolific, females reach sexual maturity at 4-5 months of age and have an average of 2-3 litters per year. If half of the cats in the room July 28th are females, that’s a lot of suffering prevented for kittens that would have been born to those females.

Give Stl Day is upon us! Today is one of the most important days of the year for our small but mighty, 100% Volunteer based non-profit. We’ve been slowly and steadily increasing the number of cats fixed every year. And we don’t want to slow down any time soon.
Trap/Neuter/Return is the only effective and humane solution to stop the breeding cycle in feral cat colonies.
We are here to answer the calls of the community. In St. Louis City, throughout Missouri and in the Metro East. A much needed resource. If you feed a colony of feral cats, if you notice them in your neighborhood, or (surprise!) find a litter of kittens under your own front porch- St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach is here to help. And now we need the support of the community. We want to keep going strong in 2024! To continue providing spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping and vaccinations for our feral friends.
Small donations add up! We believe that the ferals and community cats in our area deserve the happiest, healthiest life possible. Please show your support if you do too. TNR is reducing pet overpopulation on the front lines.
Help us to reach our Give Stl Day goal of $4000!!

We thank you!!! And truly couldn’t do it without you.

Spring is in the air. It’s only just begun but a lot of us are already feeling exhausted. Community cats will reproduce faster than you could ever imagine. Our volunteers are boots on the ground, trapping cats for caretakers physically unable to do it themselves. Spending hours and hours at the colony location, transporting cats in our own personal vehicles. And the supply of poor souls needing TNR and vaccinations is never ending. This is where you come in and can be a huge assistance to our little group. Tomorrow is Give Stl Day! If you support TNR and want to actively participate to reduce the number of kittens born outdoors, please join us and donate to St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach.

TNR never stops! But we are currently in the middle of our last clinic with Operation SPOT for 2023. We’ll have a grand total tomorrow of how many lucky kitties got a snip snip ✂️. But not counting any of the cats for this November clinic, 571 cats have been fixed and vaccinated in 2023, thanks to this collaboration. So after tomorrow, the total will be well over 600. Amazing! #tnrworks #tnrsaveslives #weareallinthistogether
It’s a great day at Thomas Dunn Learning Center!
Operation SPOT is providing spay/neuter services for a room FULL of community cats!
Volunteer trappers were busy little bees this weekend setting traps and getting those cats here for surgery day! Everyone will be fixed, eartipped, microchipped and vaccinated! 🥰🎉
No longer contributing to overpopulation producing litters of kittens born outside and vulnerable to all the elements.
TNR Trap/Neuter/Return for ferals is always our goal! But here in the room today we have some friendly cats. St Louis Feral Cat Outreach would love to ask our rescue partners if anyone might be able to find a spot to take one. And of course this request would ONLY apply to very friendly cats that do not belong outside. Who could find a spot for a kitty that’s already been fixed and microchipped? There are some cuties here, please tag your favorite 😉 THANK YOU!
