Be Sure To Incorporate Early Obedience Training Cues 🐾

Obedience training is essential in teaching your puppy to manage their energy and develop good habits for when they become adult dogs. Early training will not only help instill focus and self-control, but it also provides a channel for your puppy’s energy through commands and tasks.

Start with basic cues such as “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and “come.” These are simple commands that will help your puppy learn discipline while engaging their brain. By practicing these cues regularly, you’re giving your puppy a positive outlet for their energy, one that involves both mental and physical focus.

Training sessions should be short, fun, and consistent. Aim for five to ten-minute sessions throughout the day. It’s important not to overwhelm your puppy with too much at once, as their attention span at a young age is limited. Short, frequent training sessions will prevent them from becoming bored or frustrated while also reinforcing positive behaviors.
