Hello!
Just to tell you a bit about us; My name is Laura, and the idea was inspired by our loyal companion, Barney!
Barney is an 11 year old Labrador Retriever, and was showing common signs of aging; symptoms such as arthritis/ stiff joints, skin conditions, and a sensitive tummy. Then, following approval from our local vet about altering his diet from commercially processed foods to home-cooked meals to alleviate some of these issues I decided to research in more detail. As a qualified nutritionist, with a degree in nutrition, I knew that natural ingredients, and nutritionally balanced meals for our beloved Barney to help him have optimal health throughout his senior years was the only way forward! I started cooking home-made meals using ingredients proven to be not just safe, but beneficial for dogs health, and he is thriving! plus, his smiles when he gets served his freshly cooked meals are not to miss!!
The ingredients in commercially manufactured dog foods are a growing area of concern, and with a rising number of dogs experiencing food allergies, intolerances and diseases such as cancer there is a growing area of interest for owners who want their pets live healthy, happy, long lives. Therefore, we would like to share our inspired products with you, using foods that are safe for consumption by humans; therefore they have no toxins, chemical preservatives, or artificial colours. We cook home-made meals and treats for your dog so that they too can thrive on natural, healthy foods tailored to their needs.
