Instagram is not what it used to be. The algorithm is hurting my mental health and is no longer serving the original purpose of this account, which was to connect with other people in the hobby and promote the sales of my ball pythons. I am leaving Instagram for now. But I am very much still pursuing my passion for ball pythons. Somebody is looking fat and pretty today. This is Righty, my Pastel Spider TSK Axanthic girl who was born with a micro eye. She can still see out of it, but probably not very well. She carries her head tilted to the right (thus her name), but it doesn’t slow this girl down! She is a great eater and has been locking with her boyfriend Jagger like a champ! Excited to see the babies from this girl.

Wow… I was going to wait to post more photos of this clutch until they all shed out, but I just can’t wait! They are so stunning! I am so excited! This was a fairly simply pairing, but a great example of how you can get amazing results by choosing high quality examples of genes.

These siblings waited months to finally meet each other! 🥰 Ball pythons are not very social so it would be a stretch to say that these guys are “friends.” But baby ball pythons do seek each other out when they first hatch. By forming little noodle balls they help keep each other warm and have a better chance of surviving encounters with curious predators during these first few weeks of life. In the wild they would stay huddle together in, or near, their nest for a few days or even a couple weeks until they are ready to venture out and find their first meals. So… forgive my over sentimental brain if I want to pretend for a second they are all friends. 🥰

It’s that time of year, my friends! Baby snake season! Which means I need to make some room in my racks for holdbacks. For the next couple weeks I am going to be offering special pricing on many of my snakes listed on Morph Market. First up is Bob, a 2021 male blackhead ringer gene. Udon is the most unique snake in my collection. “She” is a Northern Rubber Boa (Charina bottae). Probably one of the most cryptic snake species you will ever meet! She spends most of her time buried in her deep substrate. But recently she has taken up the hobby of watching the world outside her basement windows. I am so fortunate to have this fascinating snake. Not many in captivity (Don’t ask me where you can get one. I have no idea!). Back story in a nutshell, my neighbor found her in bin of trash and decided to keep her as a pet in a Tupperware dish (she was that small!). When she went months without eating anything for him, he decided to give her to me. She will be staying with me the rest of her life (or the rest of mine, these guys can live to be over 50 in the wild!)

It is really fun to watch ball pythons grows and change in their appearance, especially when there are multiple genes involved. Genes can interact in ways that may surprise you. This girl is a pastel calico ghi.

Clutch 2 of 2022 has been laid! Eury gave me six healthy eggs and one slug. Not bad for a first time mom! This girl has been keeping me guessing for two years now! So excited finally get some babies from this beautiful girl!
