Did not see this comming...
3,5 months incubating in my and no hatchlings. Temperatures were dropping, so i decided to dig them up. Most eggs were damaged because of that. Only 2 eggs were looking good and 2 eggs had a little puncture. Those 4 eggs were placed in perlite and put away on top of a terrarium. Today, 4 weeks later, i noticed this little bu**er. Hatched from a damaged egg. Glad i did not throw them away!

After more than a year, he showed himself tot the world again. Looks like he's doin' fine.

Flowering rush (Butomus umbellatus), firebelly toad (Bombina variegata) and western green lizard (Lacerta bilineata).
Today was a hot day with temperatures around 30°C. That means all the critters are more active in the evening.
Today the Flowering rush showed his first flower for the first time in my pond.

Today i received a nice message from my beautiful and lovely girlfriend. My Lacerta bilineata pair is active. Hibernation is done and they look great! Let's hope for some eggs this year.

Sunshine! At last!
Birds are singing their songs, spring is on it's way. In a few months my outdoorterrarium will be alive again!
