A story still in the making for this pup but never knowing what could happen always try to be prepared 💗

Yesterday morning I was informed Hobbs, now known as Sampson, was having issues swallowing and was being taken to the emergency vet to assess his condition. Long short, after X-rays & blood work they discovered he has broken a canine and contracted tetanus. He was admitted to the puppy ICU in critical condition. Under an oxygen tent, on antibiotics among other medications, and has a feeding tube. Later yesterday as of he wasn't going through enough- he developed aspiration pneumonia. This mornings update is he made it through the night and seems to be responding to the meds. Tetanus is so uncommon in dogs there is no vaccine for them. This was a complete freak accident as he is a puppy and who knows what he chewed on to break a tooth but accidents happen, it's in God's hands now. A huge THANK YOU GOD that my client opted to activate the 30 days of insurance. Without it, he would to have said goodbye to his pup instead of getting him the help he needs. Not only am I sharing his story for any additional prayer anyone would like to send up- but to help bring home the importance of signing up for the insurance. Hopefully you'll never need it- but it could be the difference in bringing home your puppy, or burying one without being able to give him EVERYTHING.
