⚠️ WARNING! EXTREME MATTING! ⚠️

Does this look familiar? Has your dog had to have their entire coat shaved off due to matting? Let’s take a quick lesson!

❌ Why are matts so bad?
- Can cause bacterial infections and hot spots
- Decrease mobility
- Haematomas
- Anxieties and behavior changes
- Unwanted nudie grooms

✅ How can you avoid this?
- Regular brushing all the way to the skin
- Give them collar, clothes and harness free time
- Feel for knots and matts every day. Especially in areas prone to matting like the ears, chest and underarms, tail and belly
- Book in with your groomer regularly even if it’s just a bath and blowdry.

Here’s a video hopefully showing what we mean when we say to make sure you brush all the way to the skin. To brush this out would be absolute torture and your pooches wellbeing is always my priority over what they look like 🤍
