I have been treating horses for nearly 4 years and my business Body Language was finally born on the 1st of August 2017. My passion for Bodywork started when I bought home my first horse, a very broken Standardbred in 2013. After an endless amount of Chiro, Equissage and Vets, I decided to learn massage to further improve his health and well being. After 3 years of studying reports, websites, tuto

rials, journals and books without any official recognition for this learning and practice (other than happy relaxed horses I treated), I decided I would like my accreditation, to be recognised for my skills and love of horses and horse therapy. So off to Equestricare I went to become an accredited Equine Massage Therapist, which I completed on the 27th of September 2017. My approach is both Physical and Psychological. We ask horses to respond to our bodies and our movements, why are we not listening to them as they speak back to us. Sometimes their reaction is not what we wanted to hear, but it isn't necessarily wrong, it's all they can do to alert us to something going on that we can not see! We can all learn to understand our horses body language and speak to them through this. This is all part or the treatment and communication I provide to you both. Assessment and massage does not replace Veterinary assessment and diagnosis, it compliments it and a range of other therapies (for example acupuncture and chiropractic) to give a rounded whole treatment to your horse.

2021 Sponsored Donkey is Patrick.

Patrick has recently been purchased by a long term client turned friend who fell in love with the big goof, busted bits and all. He has some chronic physical issues to get through and we all know how much I love helping those horses and people who need that extra little bit of love.

A team of vets, coaches, biomechanic saddle fitter, chiropractor and myself will manage his rehabilitation. A great team is exactly what he needs!!! As does every horse/human partnership!

So off we go on the Patrick journey to help him be his best donkey horse self ❤❤❤❤
