If you’ve ever wished there was a tangible way to say “Thank you for your service!” THIS IS IT!

Canine Rehab Training (CRT K9) is raising money to train certified therapy dogs to deploy on US Navy warships. These dogs will provide companionship and affection to Sailors deployed out at sea, away from their families and pets for extended periods of time. The dogs will boost morale while decreasing anxiety and stress. These certified therapy companion dogs will bring joy to both Sailors who just graduated high school and left home for the first time, and Sailors who have spent several years out at sea.

CRT will rescue dogs scheduled for euthanasia that will be good certified therapy companions. CRT will then train these dogs in a variety of settings, including on US Navy ships. These therapy dogs will be set up with living arrangements on the ship including eating and relief areas.

Training a certified therapy companion dog is an expensive, comprehensive, and time-intensive process. The cost to rescue one dog and train it to become a certified therapy companion is $15,000. CRT is partnered with The Heroic Tail Dog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to training rescue dogs as certified therapy companions. Please consider donating money to this Zeffy fundraiser to support CRT’s mission and send certified therapy companion rescue dogs out on US Navy warships to support our Sailors on deployment.

THIS is what muzzle training should look like! Gracie is a rescue we’re working with through @theheroictail who’s been struggling with dog aggression and redirection to humans. She’s come so far already and is killing the game on muzzle training! We’ve also partnered with @brilliantbasicsk9 to work with some of our overflow cases and Angel is awesome! Angel with Brilliant Basics K9 was one of my training students a few years ago, and he’s taking off with his own business now! We’re so excited to see more good trainers in this industry who really care and love the dogs and understand the virtues of a great training method and mindset. Go give him a follow! He’s fantastic!

This case is a special one. This little one was adopted from a rehoming website, and the adopter was all out lied to about the poor girl who was CLEARLY used as a mass breeder pup for a money grab for some rotten people. She has more c-section scars than ive ever seen on a dog, and some serious insecurity issues surrounding humans (understandably!).
