Our Rescue of the Week is Clover, a 4-year-old French bulldog available in Illinois through SNAFU Rescue, one of our trusted rescue partners. She's a tender-hearted little girl with a shy soul and the sweetest spark just waiting to bloom!
Here's a quick intro from SNAFU on Clover:
"Clover is slowly learning that the world is a safe and loving place. Each day brings small victories—stepping out of her kennel, chasing her foster brother, or quietly inching closer to her humans. Behind her cautious eyes is a gentle pup who longs for patience, love, and a family to call her own.
Here’s what makes Clover so special:
Soft & Sweet – Clover has zero aggression and willingly shares toys, food, and space. Her gentle nature shines through in everything she does.
Dog-Loving Companion – She thrives around other dogs, following their lead and soaking up their confidence. A calm, friendly canine sibling would be a wonderful guide.
Quiet Observer – Clover finds comfort in her kennel, cuddling her favorite stuffed lamb chop while she slowly builds the courage to explore.
Growing Bravery – From tentative steps to playful tackles, she’s showing more of her fun, happy side every day.
Clover would do best in a patient, loving home—ideally with experienced French Bulldog owners—where her family can celebrate each small milestone as she continues to blossom. Older, respectful children (14+) are recommended to keep her world calm and reassuring.
