Our Rescue of the Week is Piper, a French bulldog available in Florida through our featured rescue for August, Space Coast Frenchie Rescue.

Here's a quick intro from SCFR on Piper:

"This is Piper.

She’s been returned more times than any dog should ever have to face — and never for anything she’s done wrong. She was moved around prior to coming to rescue and when we found an awesome home it was just to much.

Her only “flaw”? A bit of frenchie skin trouble.

Piper is a 5 year old girl who has survived more than her share of challenges. She beat IVDD, healed, and never lost her gentle spirit.

She’s quiet, sweet, and perfectly content to snooze by your side all day. She doesn’t bark, doesn’t fuss, and doesn’t ask for much — just love, a warm couch, and a human who won’t give up on her.

She has NO behavior issues. She won’t chew your shoes or dig in the yard. She’ll just be there — your loyal, soft, snuggly shadow.

If you’ve ever wanted a calm, loving best friend who will never stop being grateful for you, Piper has been waiting her whole life for you.

We are so hopeful that this next chapter for Piper will be all about her. She WILL get her happy ending, as she deserves."

SCFR is currently accepting applications for Piper, and all potential adopters should be prepared to pick her up from her current home in Florida if they are approved to adopt.
