Those burgers were so good. My Daddy will always be the king of the grill and when he makes his tasty treats, we kitties will be there to pull off the heist.

We had special help yesterday from the original master burger heist mastermind. My schnauzer brother Basil Bones came from the bridge to help us. Basil had been stealing Daddy’s burgers since before even Scott was born. Basil was the maestro as he regaled us with the story of one particular time.

Daddy left the burgers out on the balcony while the grill warmed up and left them at Basil’s level. Basil of course helped himself eating four and half burgers but he graciously left one and half for Momma and Daddy. Notes were taken and pointers were given, my humans better be prepared for greater thievery now that Basil has joined the team.

This video from five years ago is quite rare. Momma seldom goes upstairs onto her bed during the day. In fact, she only does that when she is feeling ill. This time was even more rare. I did not want the green chair. I wanted her upstairs on the bed for snuggles. It took her long enough to get the message. Pfft! I hope mew enjoy the video.

Well, our week long pawty reaches its end but I say why should it. Let’s celebrate everypawdy and everything but especially life itself and the fact that we are all together. Even those of us at the Bridge. And while I know there will be temptation to mourn my passing a year ago on the 16th, I would rather remember all the good things and good times. Throw in anything mew want to celebrate. Let’s pawty.

Sons of Anarchy sure had a pawty in its final season. A blood pawty. Sheesh. We have one episode left and the body count has been gobsmacking. It will be interesting to see where they take the survivors in the final episode. Let’s hope there is less blood at the end.

Cool again today. Yesterday was into the 20s but never felt like it with very strong winds. Just to let the heisters know, there are going to be burgers today. Do I hear burger heist? Giggles. Mew will receive your orders when mew arrive.

Happy purrday to Michelle, Hocus Pocus’ mom. Tomorrow is my big day. And what does the old girl do. She sleeps in. Really late and Daddy let her. Double harrumph! The kitties who have been hanging around the palace did not do their duty.

And after I gave Momma the sweetest meow the other night as she was doing her relaxation before falling asleep. Clear as a bell. No question. She almost went in to tell Scott but didn’t want to wake him if he was asleep already.

They are off to the pool after breakfast. She will have to get used to all the school buses again now the kids are back at school after the summer holiday. It is going to be another day like yesterday. Absolutely purrfect. 25C and sunshine.

Hope your Tuesday is full of tuna, tummy tickles and tongues out. One more sleep until my purrday. Be safe, healthy and happy. I love mew.

Now mew see what they put meow through just to get fed. Harrumph. I know that mew will love this video from nine years ago. Enjoy it as much as I enjoyed my stinky goodness.

That was the big sign last year as I was slowing down. I was not interested in food at all. Not my favourite stinky goodness or my squeeze ups. They always said they would know when it was time and they did.

I am a bit confused going through my memories for today. Some say it is National Ginger Cat Day which I thought we had a little while ago. I say have it today too. Have it every day. We deserve it. *Smiles with great satisfaction*

It is Labour Day here in Canada and the US. The unofficial end to summer. It is a bit warmer already- 10C- and going to 25C. It should be a very pleasant day here.

Purrday Celebration week has started and we kicked it off with a great pawty. We had lots of treats and nip, Scott brought the scritches. It was fun. So fun in fact that we had a big kitty sleepover and I cannot confirm or deny if Scott received bum in the face while he slept *giggles*

Weather is warming up again after a cold spell though it’s remaining a nice temperature so windows will be open for all the kitties taking part in this weeks festivities. I always enjoyed the open windows, the palace always has such a great cross-breeze with open windows.
