Cats Reul This page was created for Ben & Oreo Reul. Sadly, they left us on 7-17-2015 & 20. Miss Kitty jumped in w/Oreo temporarily, but left us on 5-17-19.

In their honor, Piper & Cheeto are keeping fun page going, as Cats Reul. They are on IG too. Hi... this is Mom, Shirley Reul. I originally set up Ben and Oreo's page around 2010. They have met so many good furrriends through this page. Sadly, Ben lost his life on July 17, 2015 at the age of 13. Then just 5 years later (2020) on the same exact day, Oreo left us at the age of 14 1/2. We miss them bo

th so much. In between Ben and Oreo's passing, Oreo got a new sister named Miss Kitty. She was a Christmas surprise when I brought/rescued her from my job. Miss Kitty's age was unknown as she lived mostly outside at the maintenance department where I used to work at a private golf club. It is said that she showed up after the 2004 hurricanes. She sometimes got to sleep in the maintenance trailer. Due to some changes at the job with maintenance staff, the future of Miss Kitty was unknown, so after much talk with Dad, Eric Reul, we decided to bring her home around Christmas of 2015. We wanted to give her a furrever home and Oreo a new sister, and that we did. She was so happy and lived the life of luxury, which was much deserved until she passed of old age on May 17, 2019. Since Oreo's passing the house was too quiet. We feel Oreo sent and guided us to our newest furry family members, Piper & Cheeto, both rescued and we thank him every day. They are so much fun. Piper was born on May 15, 2020 and Cheeto on July 21, 2020. They are going to keep this page going in the honor of Ben, Oreo, Miss Kitty and our other previous furrbabies, Emily, Squeeky, Betty and Barnie. Our beautiful cousin Itty passed away today at the age of 19 and crossed over rainbow 🌈 bridge and is running around having a ball …We’re sure of it… With all her brothers and sisters and cousins… We’re sad though because she’ll be missed here on earth. This is Piper meow… 😻 Cheeto had to go to the vet today for his annual check up, giggling. He went to see Dr. George like I did, and Dr. George gave him some gas to mellow him out because he was a little monster 😹. What a big difference though …he has hasn’t his hissed at me this time. I hope when it wears off he’ll still he’ll be in a nice mood. 🤞😻

It’s been a while meow. 😻 We just wanted to wish everyone that’s in the path of Milton meow, this big storm they keep talking about meow, safe meow, and all the people, cats, dogs, all creatures meow, who are dealing with the aftermath of Helene or experienced loss meow….We love you and are praying for you to meow.

One thing we’re not real thrilled about is our grandma’s kitty Toby… Which would be our uncle meow is coming over for the storm meow we’re not sure how we feel about that but we can’t risk them getting hurt meow .😻

Hey there, Cheeto and Piper’s Mom here…
So we took Piper to the vet for her annual check up and not to our surprise we get home and Cheeto is very very mad. He turns into a maniac, doesn’t want to be around her, hisses and growls, even lunges and swats at us… And then like a light switch, 24 hours later it’s like nothing ever happened. It’s so confusing… So we will be looking into some holistic techniques because he has to go to the vet in two months for his annual and he currently needs a nail trim. Piper is such a trooper and a great big sister for dealing with it. Today after about 24 hours of craziness he goes up to her and sniffs her and gives her a big kiss in her ear and it was like nothing ever happened. More pics in the comments.

Meowy Christmas 💚❤️😻

The patient is happy to be home. Cheeto is now growling at her. Good grief. They couldn’t do urinalysis but he feels she has a UTI and gave her some antibiotics. Her anal sac is full but they couldn’t excrete it and he hopes the meds take care of that too. She is over weight at 24 lbs so we have to cut back “even more” but the good news is her glucose is perfect so no diabetes. We’re going to really try to help her lose weight and he suggests more wet food than dry. He said to stick with the grain free dry good brand because it’s excellent (Fromm). Keep the prayers coming 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Mom Shirley

Hi... this is Mom, Shirley Reul. I originally set up Ben and Oreo's page around 2010. They have met so many good furrriends through this page. Sadly, Ben lost his life on July 17, 2015 at the age of 13. Since his passing, Oreo got a new sister named Miss Kitty. She was a Christmas surprise when I brought/rescued her from my job. Miss Kitty lived mostly outside at the maintenance department where I work at Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club. It is said that she showed up after the 2004 hurricanes. She sometimes got to sleep in the maintenance trailer. Due to some changes at my job with maintenance staff, the future of Miss Kitty was unknown, so after much talk with Dad, Eric Reul, we decided to bring her home around Christmas of 2015. We wanted to give her a furrever home and Oreo a new sister. Miss Kitty settled in and loved her new home....she never cried to go outside. She was such a character and a toughie... she certainly could stand up to Oreo if she needed to, LOL. She also LOVED to eat everything, LOL. And we spoiled her. Sadly, after 3 1/2 years of having her with us, she passed away on May 17, 2019. We miss her dearly but our comforted that she lived out her Senior years in comfort and we spoiled her immensely. She also has her wings and will furrever be in our hearts. With Miss Kitty’s passing, it was the Oreo show. Oreo came out of the woods across the street from our house when we first moved in. We always felt he was a gift from his sisters Betty & Squeeky. (Betty passed at the age of 19 and Squeeky, 15). Eric and him bonded and the rest is history. He joined our family and he was a piece of cake! He enjoyed life everyday to its fullest. He loved the mornings out on the porch listening to the birds and squirrels. His favorite foods are tuna, turkey and chicken. And of course, treats & naps. Sadly, after struggling with FIV, which caught up with him over the years and attacked his respiratory system, Oreo passed away on July 17, 2020. Same day as his brother Ben, just 5 years apart.

We miss our all our precious love bugs so much but are comforted knowing they are happy in heaven and our furrever angels and we will meet again. This page will be in their memory. We have met so many pawsome people, cats, dogs, etc. through Ben, Oreo and Miss Kitty. Thank you so much for being pawsome furrriends and for all the great memories. XO MEOW!
