Minah update!đ This sweet girl officially has her Neuro consult and MRI scheduled for January 24th, so we are still raising the funds needed (total end goal of ~$4,000). At this time we cannot commit to anything above and beyond this (e.g. a surgery to correct issues found during the MRI); we have completely depleted our funds after an unexpected funding/GDV case (Lannister), but we are beyond appreciative of your support and for making it even possible to get Minah and her family this far (fingers crossed for a diagnosis!).
We are a little over halfway to our $4,000 goal, so ANY help getting closer to the finish line is much needed âšď¸â¤ď¸. We cannot say it enough, but thank you. Thank you for making this possible, thank you for understanding why we have to post fundraisers frequently (I really try hard not to burn you out!), and a HUGE thank you for helping us reduce the number of Great Danes that are surrendered, euthanized or returned to rescue due to unexpected vet bills. We have strict requirements for applicants, and these families have exhausted their funds, while also experience financial hardship (disability, loss of income, etc.). These are loving homes and families, desperate for a helping hand and you continually show your support of our mission by lending them a helping hand. So one more time. THANK YOU!

Our boy Ralphie the #asshole continues to work on his social skills. He met another foster sibling, Memphis, who isnât fond of many male dogs.
However, Ralphie has come a long way with social queues. Sometimes the best medicine is routine, earning trust and knowing what dogs can teach him that humans canât. With cases like Ralphie it takes time and patience. #fosteringsaveslives
We LOVE this video!!! Lily (formerly Lillian) had a reunion with her previous foster mom! â¤ď¸đ Her prior foster family is now fostering Luna, so they took her along for the ride. #reunion
**Luna is looking for her forever home!**
Greenville, SC area - Luna is looking for a forever homeđ!
Our Luna bug is around 1.5 years old and is an extremely energetic and loving toddler. She is full of energy and enjoys being around people, but is most comfortable with a combination of people and dogs. Luna would prefer having a larger fur-sibling to play with, but if you have smaller dogs in the home, they need to be playful and confident. She has also been good around her foster's indoor/outdoor cat.
She enjoys car rides, floppy toys, and playing with her dog friends. She is athletic and LOVES hiking, so if you donât enjoy a more active lifestyle, she probably isnât the best fit. We are requiring a FULLY fenced yard due to her exercise needs.
She can be âhandsyâ with her paws, but we are working on basic obedience (sheâs young and learning still). To be safe, she will not go to a home with children under 8 years old. She also has the Great Dane stubbornness gene, and can require convincing to go outside or to another room.
She walks well on leash, is doing well with potty training and crate training. Luna is your typical young Dane, so she will need continued training through positive reinforcement. She is UTD on shots, prevention and spayed.

Rising Above alum Maverick sent an email and video as proof that his mom is torturing him! The horror! We told Maverick that he is going to have to suck it up, and no he canât go back to the Alabama shelter where he came from. Lifeâs not that bad, buddy. đ¤Łđ¤Ł #splitear #crimescene #weloveyou #adoptingsaveslives
Bella is running into the weekend! đ Our little wobbly girl had X-rays, but they didnât show much beyond spondylosis (spine) and arthritis of the hips. The vet thinks this is normal aging and there isnât much more she would recommend beyond supplements.
We are going to see how she does on her new supplements over the next couple of weeks, but other than that, sheâs healthy as an ox! She has gained a few pounds since coming to us and her blood work looked phenomenal.
When we first got Bella, we were afraid there was something major going on, but the fact that she has gained weight is a positive sign! Sheâs not at her ideal weight yet, but slow and steady wins the race. Her foster mama has been amazing through all of this!!
Keep our sweet girl Bella in your thoughts! She goes tomorrow morning for X-rays on her hips and legs, so she will have to be sedated. Weâve had her in rescue for roughly a month. The vet recommended we wait until she gained some weight before digging into her leg issues further, since nutrition and lack of exercise can play a part in some cases. We think itâs safe to say, she needs them!! đĽş
She has an AMAZING foster mama who is taking good care of her. We canât wait to see how much more weight she has gained as well! â¤ď¸
Maxâs first Christmas was a success!!! He stole ALL the gifts. 𤣠We think itâs safe to say he is loving life MUCH more now that he doesnât live outside alone. #FosteringSavesLivesâ¤ď¸đđđ

Who wants to smile? Like really, really, really big smile? Because TEDDY IS BOUNCING FOR JOY IN HIS NEW HOME!! đĽłđĽł Teddy bear left his foster home today and is with his forever family!! He is so excited, we canât take it! â¤ď¸đ
This boy had a ROUGH life before coming to us and is like a brand new Dane. His foster mom is a vet, and we are ETERNALLY grateful that she nursed him back to health and prepared him for this day.
He will be SO loved by his new fur siblings, human siblings and parents. Happy tails Teddy bear!!! đ§¸
