Today is my chosen BIRTHDAY! I’m adopted, so it’s Mom’s best guess based on info from my rescuers, Hootie’s Haven. I am SEVEN years old! ❤️🐾🥰

I went to the vet this morning for some blood work to make sure my liver is handling my pain meds ok. Rest assured, I caused a ruckus - hollered and squawked like they were sticking me with hot pokers and not a teeny tiny needle…loud enough Mom could hear me out front! (I was fine.) The tech lady said it was an “Oscar worthy performance,” whatever that means…😁❤️🐾

I may have slipped on ice, or jumped in some deep snow, or played too hard with my boy friend next door, Luka. Mom’s not sure, but this morning I get to have fancy pictures taken of my legs! I’m a little anxious (and so is Mom). 🥺

UPDATE: Charlie has severe degenerative issues in both hips and knees. She may need hip replacements. We will probably be making a trip to ISU’s Vet School to see a specialist. We are sad.😢
